You southern folk, don't rub it in. Yes yes, we know, we've heard it all before. :ontheloo:

"I'm driving my GT350!"
"Stop bitching, move to a different state!"
"How could you not drive your car all year around? You don't deserve a GT350!"

Lick my beer battered Milwaukeean balls.

Anyway, where's the snow warriors?

Moved to Texas this year - and it's currently 38 degrees. WTF? At least it's dry, though.

Still rollin' in the Raptor. 25,000 miles in 14 months time. Ironically, over half the miles are from towing the GT350 :cwl::cwl::cwl:

I ordered one of the new Wrangler JLU Rubicons in June but it still hasn't left the factory yet because I apparently ordered every delay-causing option possible - turbo, sky power roof, factory Katzkin leather, etc. I'm so frustrated at this point, and keeping checking MOTS updates every day.

I'm driving a very junky '86 Porsche 944 and I actually love it. I'm not looking forward to fixing all the little issues, but it's way more fun than my beater Explorer I've been driving the last few years.

Agreed...what the hell? Well it's the middle of November here and it was 19 this morning. These are full on middle of winter temps, not fall temps.

I always had this silly idea of an AWOL Mustang. S197, slight raise in the suspension, 17" wheels, 28" tires, tune, brakes, rally grill guard with a light bar, and drive that in the winter. But I have a truck I'm super happy with now.

I got 8 inches of snow this morning... So my GT350 is safely stored away and I'll be rocking the Altima until the end of April.

And this was my 350 going into hibernation last weekend....

Drove onto the "carbag", covered it using a covercraft snuggie, then zipped the bag shut after throwing in a few desiccant pouches.

This is the "snuggie" I referred to above, so no scratches from the carbag.

Here! I put my Michelin Alpin tires wrapped around 20" wheels on the Monday before Halloween and glad I did. It's 10F today and has been frigid for a while already.

My GT350 will see road use all winter long -- so long as roads are clear of snow, and chunks of snow. My commute is brief, and for the very rare occasions the snow plows don't get the job down, I have a minivan to get me to work and back home. Ice has proven to be no concern for the Alpins and Normal mode (not weather mode -- just cuts your power too much), even on 100% ice covered days last year. I didn't need to take any more care than any other car I've driven in winter.

Word of warning! TPMS does not provide timely updates on tire pressure. Never expect it to do so. I can say this because my winters do not have TPMS in it. But the system happily reported 32 lbs in every tire for two weeks before finally reporting there were no TPMS sensor. Takeaway? Always check your own air. TPMS may not provide timely information.

That car snuggie is pretty awesome. It also kinda reminds my of that feeling you get when you see a nice plump rear in a set of tight yoga pants... except it's a sexy car. Same concept ultimately I guess lol

8”! We got around 5-6 just on the other side of the Connecticut before it turned to friggin rain. Now it’s a nasty sloppy mess and temps are expected to plummet...

Back to the topic at hand, ‘15 Tacoma 4X4, last of the 1GR-FEs!!
