Can't decide between the mach 1 exhaust

https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-5200-ACT1

Or corsa

https://www.corsaperformance.com/pr...em-with-twin-4-0-tips-21002-sport-sound-level

I have a roush h-pipe installed already. I like the look for the mach 1, but it looks like a lot of work to install. Only problem with the corsa, is I wish the tips were at least 4.5 inches like the mach 1.

Also open to other suggestions, just has to have active exhaust. I mainly want the tips to look better/bigger. Sound is a plus, I know the mach 1 exhaust probably won't sound any different than my stock.

Personally I would stay with Ford. Aftermarket stuff can affect resale value.

The Mach 1 definitely sounds different. I went from my GT to my Mach 1 and could tell the difference stock for stock. I LOVE the look of the Mach 1 exhaust and valance. That would be my preference for sure. With an H pipe it would sound really good.

Just be careful going larger tips with the GT valence. 4.5” tips may not fit or would require some modification to the valence. If you want larger tips, go with the Mach 1 kit.

I personally am a big fan of Borla exhausts. Fit and finish is top notch and I love the sound. S Type is my favorite.

Guess I'm the odd duck. I have run a Thermal R&D for nearly 4 years and it's been awesome. No mufflers, straight pipe system, but it's not loud with lite throttle and when cruising.

Absolutely no drone and uses the Helmholtz resonator system so the sound waves subdue/cancel each other.

Lay into it and it's the most intoxicating exhaust I have ever owned.

I could feel the difference in power too.

I don’t have a mach 1, GT for me. But I went MBRP race series stainless. It is quite loud, but I like it. Price is reasonable too. Corsa is a no-go for me every time. I bought theirs for my last GT. They kept pushing it back and pushing it back. It was supposed to ship, so I called and asked if it was going out today. The lady told me they pushed it back another 4-6 weeks. I decided to cancel because they did not communicate very well for a $1700-1800 piece of metal. The customer service guy was a prick. Responded “since you can’t wait another 2 days, I’ll go ahead and cancel that.” While the first person told me an incorrect timeframe, I felt the customer service is unacceptable. They’ll never get a dime from me, regardless of their product. Bought 2 of the MBRP race series now for separate cars.

I second this, I've had the Thermal R&D for 3 months now and love it. 304SS, 3", no drone no rasp, fits well, and best of all it's tame when cruising but opens up when you get on it.

The quality on the Thermal is unbeatable in this price range for a full 3" Cat-Back!!!

Just do it.
