Well the car has been with them for 32 days and the Florida law is 15 culmative days but it does stipulate that: After the manufacturer’s receipt of the notification, the manufacturer or its authorized service agent must have at least one opportunity to inspect or repair the vehicle.

So since it has sat there for a month I dont see what I can do about it until I get the car back and the vibration comes back right ?
You can file now, it's past the 15 days (way past) without taking the car back. They will have the 10 days to respond & (if they elect) another attempt to repair. Since the car is sitting there, they can't say you didn't make it available when they needed it etc.

I left my car (for the final time) on 5/24 & filed on 6/27 without ever setting eyes on it. After they agreed to the buyback, I went & removed my personal stuff, deleted my addy & phone from Sync etc.) on 8/5 - that was the 1st time I'd seen it since 5/24. It was still sitting in the same place when I went to get my check on 8/15.

If you do take the car back at anytime during the process & it gets damaged, it's on you ! There are 2 damage inspections - 1 when you go to sign the buyback agreement and another when the check is ready & you 'turn in' the car. Since I was not taking it, they filled out & signed both inspection forms on the 1st trip. When I went for the check all I brought was the manuals, 2nd key, title & their loaner.

My car is supposed to be fixed. Waiting for the service manager to drive it and release the car so I guess we will see how it is when I get it back.

Dont get you hopes up to high, what ford calls fixed and you call fixed are 2 different animals!! The key word they use is "its within spec"... bullocks!!!

Post images of your work order pages when you can - it gives others a lead or facts to go on when trying to get their Service Center to diagnose and repair same issue.

^^ This.

Got my car back after two weeks, they put it on the rack and ran it up to 70 MPH using a stethoscope to listen for any clunking in the trans and diff, and said it was "fixed" (replacement of the driveshaft). I now have a shiny new driveshaft, but car is still vibrating just the same... :( They say there is nothing more they can do.

To expand, my next step is to take and get the tires rotated and re-balanced. The tire place thought that I had a bent wheel last time I did this (about 2k miles ago) but a wheel repair place said it was perfect... :tsk:

Mine seems better than it was but they replaced the driveshaft, rear end and a drive axle. I am sure it will come back. Until then I am going to drive it like I stole it

Update: Took my car to the tire shop and got the tires rotated and balanced (one was way out of balance) and it seemed (on my way home) to be much better. Will see after we get back from our 1 week road trip (not taking the 'Stang). Will report back in a week and a half.

My Wife has a 2016 Mustang GT that she barely drives just turned 6000 miles on it. She still has her 2006 Mustang Gt and still drives that the most. I drive a Tundra. Anyway I change the oil do the maintenance. When we took it home the first night I thought I felt some vibration but didn't drive it long enough to conclude anything. I have driven the car about 8 times. 3 or 4 times I got it up over 70 and kept thinking wow these tires vibrate but today 8/6/17 I realized this isn't the tires because I drove it about 60 freeway miles and cant see out the rear view mirror and its more pronounced if you get it up to about 80 and let off but definitely between about 55 to 80 consistently. If you know your car you know that that feeling is not correct. I had my Tundra lifted some years back and had it regeared. (nightmare) anyway the vibration that I had was a bearing wasnt pressed correctly at the end of the driveshaft or something so they said but after that was corrected the vibration was gone. The steering on this car is tight and no pulling or vibration. So sure seems like a drive-line or possible bearing not being correctly pressed or rear diff or all of the above but its definitely not the tires. Seems like the real fixes were a combination of drive shaft replacements along with differential replacement and ring and pinion as clearly document by Ford and their resolutions with with Juben, Blacklaw and Flyboy34. This is ridiculous that this thread has been going on for 2 years and no TSB.
Will be calling Don Sanderson Ford in Az where I bought my 16 Mustang Gt along with about 50 pages of this thread. I intend to document the positive and the negative with my dealership. First and foremost I am going into this stating all of my experiences at Don Sanderson Ford thus far have been excellent. I believe they also deal a lot with Ford Racing Development etc so hopefully this will be resolved quickly. More to follow

Thats great nothing like not having to worry about something like this over your head with that price tag attached.

I planned on reading this entire thread until I saw almost 200 pages. I still might. I also have this vibration. I'm supercharged, catback, and bmr performance springs. I have tried replacing the driveshaft with dss twice, I also replaced the axle and tried them with DSS and stock driveshaft. I've had the tires road forced balanced. I have a set of dedicated drag wheels and ive tried those with stock drivetrain and still experience vibration. between 70 and 50 the deceleration is the worst. All the mirrors are practically unusable. I'm afraid to take it to ford since its been supercharged and lowered. The blower wouldn't cause vibration but I suppose the lower springs could change the axle / pinion angle.
