I planned on reading this entire thread until I saw almost 200 pages. I still might. I also have this vibration. I'm supercharged, catback, and bmr performance springs. I have tried replacing the driveshaft with dss twice, I also replaced the axle and tried them with DSS and stock driveshaft. I've had the tires road forced balanced. I have a set of dedicated drag wheels and ive tried those with stock drivetrain and still experience vibration. between 70 and 50 the deceleration is the worst. All the mirrors are practically unusable. I'm afraid to take it to ford since its been supercharged and lowered. The blower wouldn't cause vibration but I suppose the lower springs could change the axle / pinion angle.
I'm in the same boat as you , I have so many mods I'm sure Ford will tell me to go jump off a cliff ...

You don’t have to read the entire thread the post by ANGST is key here is the link he supplied for the SSM like a TSB
http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/show...postcount=1763

Search the post in this thread for Juben, Blacklaw and Flyboy34 those all were successful Ford resolutions. Approach the dealer respectful but informed. Start with the SSM. Your in a pretty big metropolitan area or at least nearby there should be some knowledgeable Ford dealer folks in your area that know of this problem.

I've finally read up to page 102... It's a great read. Kinda like a novel.

It defies the logic of, you either have a vibration or you dont! Many start out with zero vibrations and then after a few thousand miles it rears its ugly head. Some dealers give it their best efforts and solve it, but only for it to show up later a few thousand miles down the road! I solved mine with a dynotech ds and tranny x member shims! Anyway you slice it Ford dropped the ball here and lost quite a few customers to their competition. All i can say is they better have this solved with the 2018 model!!!

Thanks for the input y'all. I'm going to continue on with reading this thread the deeper I get the more interested I am. I did see that Juben was resolved with a new diff. Which I believe is where my issue is stemming from. I'm just worried they are going to say that I damaged it with the blower. This really shouldn't be an issue because its making less power than the Roush cars with the same drivetrain. We all know that places like to use any excuse to get out of doing work. Customer Satisfaction isn't always the service person's top priority. I hope they give me the benefit of the doubt.

I've probably always had the issue but never noticed it due to spirited driving. I don't commute in the car. I did however take it to work a couple days in a row probably about a year ago and noticed the vibration and that's when I started swapping driveshafts axles and tires in various combinations. None of which really made any difference. The solid driveshaft made the vibration more prominent (less dampening).

I'm curious about what part of the differential fixed this for juben. Was it the diff. itself (internal) portion. or is it something with the housing that isn't lining up causing an angle to be off. Maybe a bad casting??? If I can fix this be swapping in a wavetrac I probably will.

I did aftermarket halfshafts and a driveshaft with a CV Style end on it. Fixed the problem for me.

Can you post more details about the driveshaft modification to a CV style end?

Any pics?

You don't modify the driveshaft it comes that way from a company called the drive shaft shop. You can also get on without a cv joint from shaft masters for a little less money.

Which one did you go with as I see several ? and this definitely resolved the vibration issue as I can already tell mine is coming back and its only been out of the dealer for a week
Thanks

I believe my issue is with the differential as I've had two dss driveshafts both made the vibration worse. I thought it was because of the driveshaft but now after seeing this thread I'm believing it's the diff. I now have a shaftmasters that I haven't installed yet. Going to check with dealer on vibration issue

On mine they replaced the driveshaft, axles and rear end and although its better its not completely gone. Its most prominent right now when I let off the gas at 65 and I feel it vibration until it reached 60. When cruising at those speeds it makes a very slight drone in the cabin. I have only had the car back a week so I imagine it will get worse as the parts break in
