Yeah a 150 shot for limited times is ok especially with the cooling NO2 provides. 225 for short amounts of time will be ok too, but you are talking about basically having an unlimited 225 shot.

Will the cyclone hold 530 hp, yes but you are 1 knock event from engine death and ALL boosted engines will knock eventually. Hell just taking it out on a hot enough day I get a bit of knock in my eco until the PCM pulls a little bit of timing out of it.

Look I am not trying to tear you down, I love where this project is going, but it is FAR cheaper to build a running engine than a blown one. I've had far too many friends read what was the safe limit of a motor on the Interwebs only to be staring at the expanding puddle of oil under what used to be the engine and no money to fix it, I don't want to see that happen to you.
Hopefully that doesnt happen to me. My plan is to not go boost crazy (going to be hard to do) But I want to run E85 with 5 pounds of boost, for a total of ~400-450whp. This is approx what all procharger kits put out on the 3.7's and from what ive heard there have been no issues. Once again, i think this will be a relatively safe build if i keep boost low.

Also, here is an update for 7/28/2016. I have purchased the MAPerformance Race Intercooler for the ecoboost mustang, they said there is a 1-2 week build process for fabricated items. I ordered the VMP Performance Fuel Pump Voltage booster, and it has shipped. I ordered the Turbosmart In-cabin Boost Controller from American Muscle. They said it has shipped as well.

I am looking into purchasing turbo blankets that will fit the stock Borg Warner turbos from a 2012 F150 ecoboost. If anyone knows which blanket will fit or if they even make any, let me know! All inputs on this topic are welcome! :)

Yeah 5 pounds is very good, just a far cry from the 12 psi on E85 mentioned earlier.

I was not considering that, just showing that someone has done that combination and has got low 500whp from it

I'm actually only doing 383whp on a Mustang dyno but about 450hp at the crank.

Received my MAPerformance Ecoboost Race intercooler! Quality of product is outstanding! Just going to order a few more parts: turbo blankets, oil cooler, and spark plugs. After, I will FINALLY be ready for installation

That looks sweet! Please keep us updated!! I can't wait to see those Twin Turbo running. I'm about to order the rest of my parts as well. However I'm still wondering if I should order a turbo blanket like you did. It seems to be a good idea though... Did you ever found a tuner for it?

I believe MPT can tune. I have heard that they have a forced induction base tune for 2015+ V6's. I think they can send that tune, then fine tune it through datalogging

Any chance you can answer a few questions for me? I am looking to do a twin turbo setup as well with these turbos but will be doing something slightly different with the mounting. :D

Any chance you can measure the inlet and outlet on the intake side of the turbos and the same for the exhaust inlet and outlet? Also, What is the smaller 2nd intake outlet and the vacuum line above it? Thanks!

Maybe! Haha! :D

Just doing research right now but it seems as though these turbos would be a good fit for a rear mounted setup! If I do this I would cap off the water inlet/outlet as the temperature in a rear mounted setup would be much lower then at the manifold and have a dedicated oil loop so I wouldn't have to route oil lines all the way back to the turbos. But enough with my proposed setup! Don't want to derail the thread! Once I get further along I will be sure to create my own thread dcoumenting the project.

For zackmd1, here are some approximate dimensions of the inlets and outlets of the Ecoboost turbos. I did not have a Vernier caliper available for accurate measurements.
