The engine is back in for the first test fit! No fitment issues with the turbos and engine bay. You can just barely see the inlet of the driver side turbo. One of the turbo manifolds is warped, so we will order a new one and then hopefully get the engine back in. As for the intercooler issue, I have ordered the CX Racing universal twin turbo intercooler and should be delivered in the next few days so that fabrication can start for the IC pipes

Here is an update: The CX Racing intercooler that I have ordered to replace the MAPerformance ecoboost intercooler is on backorder for a few more days (proabably 2-4 days). Progress is at a stop until we can get the intercooler delivered so that fabrication can begin on charge pipes to and from the intercooler.

And if you don't mind me asking Kody, could you give out an estimate on the total price of your specific build?

Will SixSpeedMotors be building a kit out of this experiment by any chance?
Hey Dave, I am not sure whether they will build a kit based on this project. Talking with Tom, he definitely sounds interested in making a kit out of this but I cannot say for sure.

I dont mind, I am about $3500, all in so far. This includes turbos, exhaust manifolds, intercooler, spark plugs, oil cooler, SSM adapter kit, boost controller, fuel pump voltage booster, SSM installation costs, and MPT forced induction tune. I will probably still have some extra costs for the fabrication of exhaust parts/intercooler piping. I would not imagine this being more than $500 though.

Thanks man! Wow, that is not bad at all! Considering a Procharger is like 6k... and you' definitely be making more power too! Man I really want to go FI on my car... but I'm not the most mechanically inclined person. Would definitely pay a shop to do it for me. But idk if the maintenance afterwards is too taxing...

Same boat that Im in! Turbo setups are alot of work, especially this setup because it hasnt really been done by anyone. I havent heard of anyone in the procharged 3.7's having any specific issues with maintenance, so Im hoping that will be similar with my setup.

Downpipes have been fabricated to the original exhaust system. Turbos moved the stock exhaust flanges about four inches rearward. Intercooler is set to be delivered tomorrow, so hopefully we can get that fitted and start the fabrication process of intercooler piping. The DW 50lb injectors proved to be unreliable as not much data was available for them, so I switched them out for DW 65lb injectors which MPT has already tuned on. Will keep you updated...

Looking good so far! That turbo just barely fits on the drivers side! :headbang:

Tom would have to take your kit back apart and make jigs for all the piping bends and welds but it could definately be done!

This is off topic, but still related to the car. As I will be having a turbo setup now, I will not need my chrome BBK shorty headers anymore. I will be selling them when I get the car back if anyone is interested.
