I wouldn't even bother with the paddle shifters.
Keep it in 'D' for WOT runs. Now if 3 different tuners
can't get your shifting right, I'd look for a mechanical
problem.

No my Lund tune has pretty good shifting and the tuner that this thread started about also had good shifting. Juggernaut is noticeably bad.

And I like to drive using the paddleshifters. I don’t really ever let the transmission shift by itself besides the auto downshifts. What really sucks is the paddleshifters were clearly not made for the abuse as I’ve had one fully go out and a second one is on its way out aswell.

What’s interesting is the car is faster on my Lund tune when I shift it myself. Lund tried to make a revision or two to have the car do better in drive but I didn’t care enough to pursue the issue and it wasn’t a big enough difference to really matter.

oh geez your right.. hard to keep track ha-ha. sorry about that.
After 16 pages of this I don’t blame anyone on getting confused haha.

I probably should have ended it after getting my refund.

I’ll probably make a new thread about my self tuning adventure. Asked the admins to make a separate section for tuning but haven’t heard anything back

What cable do you think I should get?

PCMTec recommends the OBDX PRO FT because it has 64 bit support (https://obdxpro.com/product/obdx-pro-fx-ford-obd2-j2534-diagnostics-and-tuning/)

I also found this thing on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Jugger-J2534-Techstream-Programming-Diagnostic/dp/B07ZCC8QG9/
I ended up buying the cheap Amazon one because they will deliver it tomorrow.

If it doesn’t work well or I don’t like it I’ll pickup the more expensive one

My friend tested this and it worked as long as you throw away the cds.

Cant really go wrong with the one that PCMtec recommends. I use mine a lot.
Do you know what drivers he is using? PCMTec says it can't read the pcm.

I see so many stories of Lund fucking up tunes and other tuners having to fix it. Its shocking to still see so much Lund dick riding out there.

So far out of 4 tuners I’ve tried Lund has produced the best results.

Juggernaut is on revision 7 and still has tons of issues. Lund’s 2nd revision drives way better and is way faster

And with how bad Lund’s support is, they respond faster than Juggernaut

Now that is frightening
Yep not very happy. I’ll give Juggernaut a few more revisions and then if it’s still not decent I’ll ask beefcake for a refund and post a review about them here. Highly doubtful I’ll get a refund tho.

Just sucks because beefcake talked them up so highly and they can’t even get the car to shift at the rpm they want. They usually only send one response a day and there has been several days where I get no response from them

I couldn’t get the basic and most simple requests out of my Ortiz and Juggernaut tunes. IMRC’s, fan settings, idle RPM, etc. No shift points to worry about either. Quarter mile runs were faster un-tuned than with the Ortiz E85 tune. Both were nice guys and decent prices but you shouldn’t be learning how to tune on the job. Response times were normal for the most part. Wanted to keep using my SCT device so my choices were limited. My mistake.

What is the point in replying if you aren’t going to read the original post that started the thread?
That was the original post that started the thread bud

I had questions with Juggernaut on the Arcane fuel system wiring. I emailed them several times, called them 3 seperate times. They never responded. Nice product, but TERRIBLE customer service. I would not recommend them.
