Just tried to load 2. and it gave me a message of version disabled.

Did anyone from Canada buy this? Is yours disabled.

This is pissing me off, I have a set of cat delete pipes and I think I'm going to install them and run it on the street since I cannot switch from off road to on road.

Also took away the ability to turn off FAOSC.

My friend bought pcmtech and the obdxpro cable and it can’t read a Whipple tune out of a 2018 because it doesn’t support the ZRBJ4 osid. Anyone know a workaround?
Probably could ask PCMtech, maybe they’d be able to at least let you read it? I’ve heard they’re responsive
Also took away the ability to turn off FAOSC.
this especially annoys me, because it eliminates the ability to use a non fouler. They left most of the parameters open for FAOSC maybe we can force it.

Can also just use HPT to shut that off

Until the next forced firmware update.
FAOSC isn't even really emissions stuff, it just prolongs the life of the cat, so I'm surprised they pulled it out. It feels like they just don't want to take any chances.


I run cats, but it is annoying for those that don't, even the GESi cats don't work well

The new GESI 1200 hp per cylinder bank ones supposedly hold up well as long you don't use 2 step. I'm not sure who manufacturers the OEM hellcat ones, but my buddy makes 1070 whp and have been surviving for 3 race seasons.

I run cats,
I switched, put them on for road and off for track. I think I'll just leave them off just to say FU to the arm twisters.

My main tuning computer does not automatically connect to the internet. I still have version 2 open on it

Use a VM to isolate the old version. That way you can also have both versions open at same time.

I think we're all basically screwed though since it appears you have to login at least once to be able to load any strategies or license a tune. Maybe if you have already written a file and don't ever connect to the internet again it might work.

I changed my min time and min ego switches to 20 and 20, doubling the default/stock values in order to prevent it from maturing too soon after a fillup. I tested it today and it at least worked this time (1 whole data point).

I went from E85 sitting on 0 miles to E and filled up with Shell 93. At 1:30 minutes from start-up cruising at 55 mph, the fuel trims dropped down to -21% while learning was "paused". I thought this was too soon for gasoline to make it to the engine and oddly enough, returned back to around 0% trim at 2:30 minutes. I can't explain this. It "unpaused" about that same time. At about 3:10 minutes, it started learning rapidly (I max'd out the max rate of learning). At 3:45, the ethanol % dropped below my 55% "toggle" and the borderline timing returned to gasoline values. At this point, it is "safe", the way I have it set up. The A/F gauge was around 11.5 at steady-state, and rising. I tried to keep the MAF between 2.4 and 3.0 lb/min in order to slow the fuel purge rate while also being in the range that would allow maturing (torture test, of sorts). At 11:30 minutes, the alcohol had learned down to 30% but not yet matured when I shut it off.

but not yet matured when I shut it off.
I have not had any luck going from 100% to 100%

I always need to do a KAM reset. I usually start blending at 1/4 or 1/2 tank levels. This helps the computer learn.

I tried 40 on the time and counts but it needed several miles of interstate driving to mature.
