Oh this is cool for $100 this is absolutely worth the try.

They have that true flex fuel thing coming down the line too, with a sensor.

But the true flex fuel will only available on the workshop version for $2000.

Though, I did hear from PCMTEC that there *might* be a “preconfigured” custom OS for the ProTuner (cheaper) version of the editor. No idea what that’ll look like and they said they weren’t even sure of the feasibility, but at least it’s on the table.

Not all workshop accounts have it. We purchased a while back and still haven't been granted access to it.

Yeah I did know that, but I’m hoping they port it to this version one day.

still this is very cool, I have my issues with HPT namely that they are just going for as many cars as possible. A tailor made Ford editor would be great.

really I just want a Cobb AP with mustang GT Support lmao

Hope you get it soon. I’m very interested in some end user feedback.

Additionally, I still urge anyone who wants the custom OS and/or flex fuel with a sensor to email them and let them know you’re interested in it as an end user. They seem to be pretty responsive to community feedback.

I contacted HPT support the other day asking them, more or less, if they had any plans to develop feature parity with other competitor products specifically on this platform.

That was three days ago. Crickets so far.

I expect them to do nothing, I emailed them months ago about how the active exhaust tables are not correctly mapped in the FMKK1P3 OS, they claimed that it was mapped correctly and then never responded again.

Yet I'm sitting here with it not working at all.

So far form what I'm seeing, I like this PCMtec editor way way better. The interface is better and there are a lot more mapped parameters. Plus they seem to be dedicated to Ford, which makes me think we'll get better support.

"Mapped Points Function View - IMCC, IMRC VCT,..."

Is really sweet, puts everything all in one spot to easily view

None of my dongles work.

What do you all recommend, the OBDX PRO or the TACTRIX

It does have the sport mode transmission tables I've been wanting, this alone is worth the price for me.

Going with the tactrix open port since it works with so many platforms.
