When you buy a sub par unit like I did TWICE you'll be kicking yourself when you see your charge temps go through the roof!

What unit did you buy at first?

Ultimate racing, good on the street and drag racing. Fail on the road course!

lol, I prefer the clean look if an intercooler w/o logo. They should just make it an option on all intercoolers.

can you elaborate? Do you have a separate post with your review of their parts?

We are currently sporting the first Panda Motorworks FMIC on our 2015 EB. I don't have all the particulars available yet (core, pricing, etc..) but it's a big improvement over the factory unit. I will try to post more details soon, but here's a few shots with it installed:

Well hopefully they at least keep me updated every once in a while. Waiting for a couple weeks and no updates is terrible customer service. not that I waited that long yet, just saying if that's the case.
Ive only waited since the 13th of this month which is the date I ordered it.

Its been a month for me as of tuesday, and havent got a heads up, so i wtote them about 2 minutes ago. They have great reputation but this wait is murder for me. Mainly because i ordered other stuff (a lot of stuff ) with it and basically they cant ship that out until the IC is done (well they can but its cost prohibitive shipping wise). When that big ol box comes (which hopefully be this week) itll be xmas in august for me☺
Makes me wish I had bought the ATM cooler.. Im still waiting on my MAP ic and no updates from MAP as of today. The no updates or even the slightest email update would be nice enough to keep me happy. I really hope the IC shows up and has no issues.
I have been holding off getting my car dyno tuned cause I haven't gotten my IC installed. I want to go to the track already! lol

It's not like I'm a ghost on the forums here. I usually update product ETA's when a customer asked instantly. I also posted pretty regularly in other threads with ETA's for our products and on facebook.

We process about 200-300 orders per day, unfortunately it is just impossible to update every customer with backorder ETA's with this amount of order volume. We keep ETA's on backordered MAP products up to date on the product page as accurate as we can which you can see on the Intercooler link below:

Sorry to disappoint!

Im not bad mouthing MAP btw, the wait was murder on me like i said, because of the reasons i listed (i ordered everything through them!) and they DO respond very very quickly if you write, just telling the dude not to expect updates without asking for them. Also the site IS abundantly clear that the cores are on backorder and if you call they will quote you 3 to 4 weeks. Thats as crystal clear as it can get if you ask me. I will review them despite them being popular around here, mainly because its my first go with them. And so far on communication i really do have to give them a solid solid 10/10

Im not bad mouthing the company or your products. What gets me, is the fact that I PM'd you and you clearly stated if I ordered that day, we are looking at 2 weeks. If you read the PM I sent you and your reply you will see Im not making this up. Well its been past 2 weeks and now Im calling your contact line and now Im told an additional 3 weeks from today.
Again, I being that I work for Ford service department, understand when stuff gets on backorder how frustrating it is to a customer, but we deal with huge number of customers and find ways to let them know updates. And that's something that maybe can be worked on by your company. Always strive for customer service to be on the top notch level. Again, maybe Im rambling and maybe I should PM you about this, but all I would like was an update from time to time to make sure everything is on schedule or is behind.
Anyways, Im not trying to be a jerk either.. I will leave it at that.

Nick showed me this at the Speedway and it looks like some top notch work from Chris and his guys. Their other stuff on the car looked great too.

Soo...with that awesome image in mind...would anyone advise against removing the active shutter mechanism?

My theory is if you are adding an intercooler for performance, why would you worry about any little hit in MPGs from removing the shutters? Take them off and let more air get to that intercooler!
