Hi guys, finally cleaning out the garage. Selling this stuff because I traded my 2015 PP 6MT car in for a tow vehicle for the racecar.
I have an an unmarried (uninstalled when I traded in) Cobb AP with a custom tune from Adam at Tune+. When I had it tuned, it had Adam's Turbosmart Wastegate...
I'm looking to put my PP Ecoboost back to stock and don't have my stock suspension parts. I'm looking for stock OR aftermarket springs, and basically any shock that'll fit, even if it's not PP, not ecoboost, etc. Only thing I'm concerned about is putting GT springs on since the front is so...
I had initially removed the grille shutters, but after looking at them, it appeared that the frame may actually help duct some air to the radiator and intercooler, so I reinstalled it, but with the motor and all of the slats removed. Seemed like best of both words.
Yes, I have the Mishi intercooler as well. I know the ECU doesn't know there's a cooler...What I meant was, I figured the algorithm would correlate higher oil pressure with cooler oil temps, and the pressure IS higher now. Who know....it's Skynet. Thanks again for the info.
That's really interesting. I know that the oil pressure goes up a bit after the install of the kit, but I don't see how that would make the algorithm read higher...generally colder oil (like at startup) has higher pressure than hotter oil. My cyl head temp and water temp are always right at...
Impulsed7, sorry to bump your older thread, but I just installed one of these myself. Do you monitor your oil temps with anything in particular, or just the gauge in the car? I'm in Phoenix and just installed this kit, and see no reduction in temperature. Cruising on the highway, even after...
So I'm a little confused. I need some help with your measurements. SCCA Street Prepared rules for swapping radiators state:
"1. Radiator core dimensions (width, height, thickness) must be no smaller than the standard part."
So, the dimensions that you have listed for the PP radiator...is...
While I agree with the above sentiment, you can get the 6 piston brembos for less than have of that from Tasca parts (calipers are $250 each, then pick a rotor/pad you like) , so I'll be adding that one on for sure.
Well, I did the downpipe first, with the stock rear section. Throttle response was much improved, and low-end and midrange torque was much improved. I wasn't expecting much from replacing the system behind the downpipe, but it helped a little bit down low, a bit more in the midrange, and very...
I know the earlier DI VW motors had that issue as well, and still do to some extent...are the Subaru motors worse? Any idea how the Ford DI motors are fairing? I kinda thought it was a fact of life with Di motors in general, since there's no fuel spraying on the back sides of the valves to keep...
Oops, yeah, left out the world "legal," sorry about that. For those classes you can't move the location of the rear spring, otherwise these would be awesome as long as I could get the fronts valved to handle a 700-800lb spring.
