That was my observation completely. I had the shop that did my MGW shifter install do that at the same time... Very happy with it...
Hate to bring this up again because I know the sound will never be 1:1… but my thought was the SwitchFire blends the pulses from both sides of the motor, which smooths things out and shifts the tone closer to that clean, high pitched Voodoo sound, since the Voodoo naturally fires evenly. I think that’s where I’m getting that “exotic” sound from the Switchfire. I’m sure in person it sounds nuts.

I don't know about that, I personally don't like the Voodoo at all :). I know "GASP". But to each their own. I just know the switchfire is unique. I really dislike the X pipe, and the H pipe while a nice deep tone does sound imbalanced so to speak at times..

If you’re thinking headers just go straight to the Jones Mid resonator. Same thing all the blower guys are using to temper the Coyote over the top loudness.

I think realistically for the near future I’m looking at stock headers and mufflers, I will file this though thank you

Don't do either. Keep the factory resignator and do a nice cat or axle back.

There’s a guy around here that has the Switchfire on his car. Orange Fury GT with active exhaust, PP car. Heard it at a few car meets, it sounds good and clean. The overall sound will be a little different because the Mach has different mufflers, but if you see him around you’ll have a good idea of the sound. There’s not many Orange Fury cars by us so chances are if you see one it’s him.

Neither, both introduce rasp/flatulence which this engine makes enough as it is

I have SW Headers, Borla Switchfire, Borla Axleback S-type Active Exhaust. The rest of the pipe is stock. I may be biased, as its my car, but it's hands down one of the most unique Mustang exhaust sounds I've ever heard. It's just simply melodic. There's somewhat of a Zoom with a Growl sound. I guess VRoOm! :cwl:
Either way no Rasp here!

Thanks ,Yup that my plan👍 …. I see they also make 3” inch version of the jones max flow MF2469. Would u recommend the 3inch version ?
I’d recommend you stay with your current exhaust tubing size.
I’m unsure what you have before and after the MF X ?

Title says it all…
I have had it all. H pipe is deeper over louder wining X pipe. My current set up is Switchfire with Borla on GT500. Love it, but H pipe was a little deeper louder with pops. It may have been the Tune though.
