335/30-18 Rival S Squared!

The time has come to stuff 335s at all four corners! I ordered a new set of 18x12 Forgestar Wheels and got some fresh rubber from BFG. In order to maintain the front/rear wheel relationship of my 315 setup, I moved the rear wheels out, even though we can put 335s under the rear without body mods. This means it is time to cut. In the photo you can see the rear wheel well rolled out for clearance, this will later be covered with a flare. the front will also receive a flare but I will be cutting the fender to get the needed clearance.

it has an engine!
Sweet jesus. 335 greatness. I need to go back and reread how you fit it. Ive got watson telling me i cant fit 315s or wider on 15 inch wheels.

Well i dont see anything new since last time i peeped this thread that would aid in fitting those steamrollers.

Edit: nvm i read that post more than the quick skim i did earlier

Nice! Did you sell your wheels already or going to?
I am still using the 18x11s until I finalize the mods for the 335s. They will be for sell as soon as that happens.

So the F14 does work in 18 inch sizes?

The new F14 Deep Concave is supposed to have the same barrel as the CF5 that we run now. The Super Deep Concave I am using for fitment do not fit PP brakes. I will have the actual wheels next week to confirm what the engineered drawings say!

The 335 Rivals work great on a 12" wheel, and scrub radius, and Forgestar doesn't have 13". :)
sure they do - M14.
adds another .75" contact patch over a 12" with the 335 rival. ask me how i know :)
but you're right - 335s only slightly pinched on a 12.

Never liked the sidewall angle of the 335 Rivals I have seen on 13" wheels. But the M14 might be different. Did they fit over PP brakes?

they're definitely "stretched", but not hella flush caliber

yes, fit over PP brakes. haven't taken the car for a test drive to confirm full loaded fitment (very tight tolerances both inboard and outboard under the stock-ish fenders, both front and rear), because it's been uncharacteristically cold around here the past few weeks, and doesn't look to be letting up anytime soon. stay tuned.

glad to see you finally with appropriately sized wheels/tires though (especially with all that extra power you have now!), you'll be able to tell the difference right away
