You're a set of J-pipes away from greatness, then! Sounds good.

Yep! We will see how the system ages and then go from there. I might swap out the mini bullets for something else as well but we shall see.

Yeah based on that video, I'd take those out and just do J-pipes. The resonated X really controls the rasp, so taking those out will just give it a little more aggressiveness and kill the drone.

Just purchased a Mishimoto induction hose. They do not directly list it as compatible with the 18's since they have not tested it yet but I am fairly confident it will fit after comparing part numbers and compatibility of the stock induction hose between 17 and 18.

Well scratch that.... The 18s have an intake pipe diameter 10mm larger then the 15-17s... That means the Mishimoto will not fit.

Sound Clips! Mic did a terrible job of capturing the sound but at least it gives you an idea. Much deeper tone in person.

So there is some drone right at 2K up to 2.25K RPM. Not terrible but it is there. Can look into eliminating it down the road with some resonators but it is not something I feel I need to do right now.

MagnaFlow You might want to look into this.... My fee is low... :D:cheers:
That mic was not happy :p Interesting setup, though. It sounds nice!

Can you explain how sync3 gives you access to drive modes?

I don't think it is necessarily Sync 3 in and of itself, so much as the upgraded premium bezel that won't work with a base model. The bezel has the drive mode toggles which you can activate with forscan.

Well this sucks... Lady slammed on her brakes in front of me. No injuries but certainly puts a dampener on mods.... Waiting for adjuster to come out to determine if totaled or not. Looks like it could be to me but we shall see. Steering wheel and drivers knee airbags blew as well as passenger side curtain airbag.

Yea everyone is ok. Wife was not in the car thankfully. Not sure why the side curtain airbag blew. Only thing I can think of is that it was a slight off center impact. Was only going about 30 MPH but as you can see, the front end slid underneath the other car (Chrysler Town and Country). Looks like the rad was pushed all the way back into the engine but can't quite tell. Airbox and engine cover destroyed, possibly intake manifold damage as well. Going to be doing a bit of investigation today before the adjuster comes out to see the full extent of the damage. Sucks that I just did an oil change on Sunday....

Thanks for the comments. I hope so too. Took the car apart a bit yesterday.... Radiator was pushed all the way back into the engine. That being said, I couldn't see any obvious signs of damage on the engine. Upper frame rail on passenger side is buckled all the way back to the shock tower. Could have tweaked the tower. Main wiring harness is destroyed along with PCM and fuse box. Amazing the HVAC still had a charge so the condenser was not punctured even though is mangled to hell and back.

Sorry to hear and see that Zack! Glad you’re ok though.

I’d say with the amount of damage in those pics - plus the fact multiple air bags deployed, it may fall into the totaled category.

Is the dash over the passenger side air bag damaged? In some vehicles when that airbag goes off, it can also damage the dash assembly.
