Your first video (run 2), throttle was very smooth throughout the track. I am jealous, my right foot apparently only understands on and off based on my videos.
I do have a 3.31 diff, that may be some of it. A bit easier for it to sound smooth.

This is enough clearance to the strut, right?

I've run with less. I think you're ok. I've heard "if a credit card fits, then run with it.

For some reason, car still hasn't sold despite watching 2 other cars selling. One car was similar build to mine, but the owner actually said my car had things his didn't which he wished he'd have done. The ither one, the seller actually told someone to buy my car, not his.

I guess living in Texas is an issue. If thus car was on east coast/north, I bet it woukd have been gone by now.

How wide of the wheel is that ? Man, that is tight but don't think I've had much more.
Will the tire have clearance to the spring ?
Test fitting 18x11 F and 18x12 R with my as-is strut/camber setup.

So, that's just an 11" front. My other 19x11s have the lip an inch higher up in the threaded area and this arrangemen was dialed for tire clearance with that setup. These 18" barrels are shorter and sit close to this awkward knob on this threaded shock body. The strut is slotted so I could get a bit more clearance there at the cost of an alignment, but I think I'll probably just send it.

I've got the same thing going on. I think you're ok on wheel deflection, but I might be a little concerned about tire deflection once the spring is in place.

I originally fit an 8" long spring on the front of my car, but I have to put a 6" spring on to gain clearance for the wheel/tire. It doesn't help that I had to use 3" I.D. springs.

I tried to figure out how to make a 2.5" work, but it was just a no-go. Since they're 'upside down', the Magneride struts are pretty big to begin with. Add the sleeve thing that I did, and the smaller springs are not an option. I'm more bummed about the 6" length than the 3" diameter. I generally like to use as long of a piece of wire possible for a given spring, because it makes the spring more linear and acts nicer all the way around. There just isn't enough room for it. At least Eibach has a good selection of odd-ball sized springs.

Welp, I had 2 buyers back out of the car this weekend. So stripping my MCS and trading it in/selling to dealer. Someone is about to get a steal that they won't even realize.

Sucks, but I'm done.
