Base GT has gone up about ballpark, $1k per year on average from when I bought mine in 2015.
It was a lotta car for $30k in 2015, but not sure about $38k.
Thanks... I'm starting to trust the 315's enough to get the back end rotated when I need it to be. It felt great this weekend with like 55 runs on the RT660's. Ryan still took me down by almost a second. I finally, in the last run, got wide enough to take the finish like we talked about, and...
How much brake do we really need? I’ve definitely been toying with the idea of the wilwood drag brake setup that they say is also ok for “street use”.
Taking 50lbs off the front of the car is huge, some rotating weight? It’s unsuspended weight, so not much benefit there.
Obviously, you’re not...
Yeah, I've been waiting for your's to hopefully get snapped up, prior to posting mine. Not 100% sure on mine yet, but probably 98%. My work on mine will pale in comparison to yours, so someone would need to put some time in and a good bit of $$$ to have what your's already has.
His driver, I think has at least one Ultima trophy, and was in the trophies and ahead of me by 3 secs at the Beeville Divisional. Hurt's your feelings when a 4 banger get's you. He was only a few tenths out of the trophies.
Beeville was enjoyable this time for me. The addition of the rear spoiler was confidence inspiring, and I'm no where near the limit of the car. I ended up in 8th of 10. At the same site at the tour, I was 10 secs out of 1st, 6 seconds the first day, and 4 the second. This time I was under 4...
Quick question. Removed the seats from my CAMC Autocross car, and would like to use one of the original powered non-memory base powered seats(passenger is what I'm looking at now) as a simracing cockpit seat and am wondering if there is somewhere I can apply an AC/DC inverter 12v 15-20 amp power...
Lip spoiler came in, and it’s exactly what I hoped it would be, $120 amazon version of what American Muscle sells for $315. Has a nice flat undersurface with a lip to attach the chin(?) part of the spoiler to. Looking to see how quick release it can be made.
So, re-weighed my stock 2015 base model fabric seats several times and it looks like, at least after 7years, and almost 80k miles, they are 53-54lbs.
Sparco EVO XL 2020 model’s with s550 base, steel side mounts and sparco slider, are 35-36lbs.
Sparco EVO XL is 20-21 lbs
Sparco Base is 6-7lbs...
Well said. I remember in 2012 when Todd Roberts and I were trading wins every other week in STX, wondering about the actual enjoyment I was getting out of it. It was stressful, but I was new, and still had a lot to learn, and still do, on prepping a car for regional and national events.
I am...
Was good to meet you too. I am so lucky... :curse: To have @NightmareMoon in my club and get to chase him every event. Time for Aero, and stock bushing replacement, to do what I can to make up for my wussy driving. Brian Burdette did just fine without Aero. and was in the trophies. My first day...
Just getting to the weekend was a chore this last week(worked 25 of 30 hours Thurs, 3am - Fri 8am). Finished about where I probably should have, given my car, and driver prep. I had a one cone run about a second off where I need to be to be in X-Pro, but 1.5-2 secs off NightmareMoon, and others...
lol, don't mean to be an azz, but I've mentioned several times, this car started as a 2015 base, and was 3595 bone stock(Terry Fair's shop Intercomps). That's how... Youse guys and all your doo dads... lol. Hey, I have to squint at the rear camera. That sucks.
This is my car(note paper...
I am. Had my first test and tune a couple weeks ago with NightmareMoon. We're in the same club. Have an event this weekend, and am signed up for the South Texas tour. I've been out since Nats in 2015, so I'm keeping my expectations low.
It looks like, if I throw another $1500 at it, I can get...
My spreadsheet looks like after the seats, I'll be at about 145lbs off. The sheet is kind of a mess right now. The rows I have an x in is what I've actually done and the calculation is applied. Forgot to finish applying the #'s for the fender liners which were 6 lbs. That puts it at 3443...
