And using a couple janky pieces of aluminum sheet pressing against a tire sidewall is a better way to set total toe? Gotcha.
bro. That’s not even how they work.

You didn't go very stiff on the front spring and the HPP+HP includes a fairly stiff rear bar. If you go stiffer rear I'd pair with a GT PP or base GT bar (22.2, 21.7 mm vs your 24 mm).
Ya, when I was looking at the spring selection, these seemed like a reasonable step stiffer (~30%) and was about as low as dared drop it. Depending on how this goes I might take a stab at the 300# BMR's.

The rear bar is fairly big on this thing. The limited options kind of suck. I see a fab project and blades in my future.

The 300# BMRs are not sold anymore, FYI. Also they did not fit properly, and either had too much free play at full droop (first version) or had too much drop (second version). The third version is 250#. I have a pair of the first version at home but never installed them.

Have you ever loaded a stock-style spring with spring rubbers to stiffen it up? It would raise ride height also, but maybe an interesting test? As it was, the preload on these springs was nil. I just pushed them down with my hand to start the nut on the strut.

Those plus some sort of spacer/helper setup might be of interest. How much do they rattle at full droop?

I never installed, but what I was told is there is about 1/2" or so of free play at full droop. To be honest taking that up with isolator/spacers would probably work well for rate/height.

probably best handled with shortened struts. Bilsteins B8?

In Volvo land people used to use huge metal zip ties to avoid that lowering springs fall out. I think it could be done for a Mustang as well if really needed.

No one really *likes* doing things like that, but on track it works just fine.

Well, the GT is gone. I have drank the koolaid and bought an SS 1le to run in BS. Need to clear out the garage. Here are links to the for sale threads.

I wish Bridgestone and Falken could swap price tags.
