Don't forget the write-up that I did when swapping GT350R Recaros into a GT. I provided the codes from a scan tool for the airbag light you get and what to swap to safely and properly swap seats and reset the light.

The proper way isn't to add resistors or mock up some makeshift sensor. You need to swap the passenger occupancy sensor from the GT seat to the Shelby Recaro if you would like to keep all factory parts.

Just to add to the thread. I swapped 15-17 Recaro seats into my 2019 301A PP car and got the airbag light. I removed the OCS sensor/bladder from my stock passenger seat and installed it in my Recaro seat and the airbag light went off. Hopefully this helps the next guy..

Can someone with Schroth 4 point harness in their S550 Recaro seat post pics or PM them? The Schroth site has options and I have no idea how it all ties together. I assume the shoulder straps clip to the LATCH system but not sure. I saw an S197 with them but he had a roll cage plus the nut strap coming out from the front of the seat (kind of useless?) and after waiting for a while hoping to speak to the owner I had to move on.
