So i bought a OEM rear seat delete kit that supposedly came out of a gt350R.
I had it sent to a friends house where i`ll pick it up tomorrow.
My mate sent me a pic of the box and it looks about 1/2 the length of the box that Ford sends them in.
My question is , aren't they stiff and formed? Will folding them ruin the backing and inhibit its ability to hold its shape?

It is rigid , I would be willing to bet it’s damaged.
2nd that. I took out my rear seat delete in my R... and I can tell you with 100% certainty that while it flexes some....if they kept it folded in half for a prolonged period of time it us potentially damaged.....let us know if it is ok.....

Fingers crossed for you no damage

I have a roll cage in my cars. The only way to get it in is to fold it. So yes, you can fold it. I wouldn't ship it that way though.

Yeah got it today not sure what to think but it's not really that rigid.
I`m ok with it.

Now i just to figure out the dimensions of those 2 foam blocks and find 2 seat belt plugs as i don't want to cut up my originals.

Doesn't a "rear seat delete" take away the luxury of folding down the (missing) rear seats? You know what I mean? Are you still able to fit something into the trunk that would have required to fold a seat down? Not that I ever used it and probably never will. Just wondering...

Yeah it does , for me not an issue i don't plan on ever hauling anything that big.
Reality is it's a bit of a wank ,the weight you save is nothing you'd ever feel it's just a possers option
Que the head smack...lol

You would be surprised how many Crown moldings from lows fit in that mustang with the rear seat down.

Well i think i may have duped. This looks like a aftermarket piece . The seller claimed it was out of his gt350r but you can fold this thing up 4 ways .
It just doesn't feel right.
I`ve started a return proceeding so i`ll see how it goes.

Well it's on it`s way back so that's a start.

Not to hijack, but what holds the factory seat delete in place? Push pins or bolts. Mine are missing.
