I did all the easy stuff - rear seat, front head rests….I am not sure if I will redo the front seats - I did the same thing on my old 2013 base Mustang….rear seats are easy….front seats are so much more involved, might be easier to pay an upholstery shop for the two front seats…..

Hey man....any idea how many Need For Green cars were built? I have seen two or three - one convertible and two hardtops - and the hardtops I saw may have been the same car twice. Great color, too bad there aren't more.

You did an awesome job of the rear upholstery swap, came out nice!!

So if you haven't seen it, this thread I had compiled for seat info. Scroll down in it to the parts with seat upholstery swaps/installs - there's a lot of info on those threads showing how to do the fronts:
https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/th...rranties-cooling-heating-rear-deletes.171505/

If you did the rears, you can definitely do the fronts - just think of the fronts as doing the rears. It's a very similar process, only difference is the upper seat back is attached to the lower - where the rears were just 2 separate pieces.

You got this far, we know you can do it!

I saw that - definitely helpful - between those posts, along with various youtube videos, I know I can...just nervous - I did the same to my 2013 base V6 Mustang - the front seats were in some ways less complicated - the didn't have the "airbag chute" that had to be clipped together and orientated just right....

I've never thought to check that out. I've only seen 3 others and those were at the Smokies in the Mountain event in Tennesee. I haven't seen another one here but was told there is an Ecoboost in the color in town.

Looks great so far! I also did the leather swap on my '19 GT. The fronts are not that bad. I found it helpful to watch the CJPP and LMR YouTube videos on the seat cover swaps. It's a bit time consuming but not extremely difficult.

See my avatar. I did them with some help.
Not that hard especially once I was quoted ,$800 just to install what I already purchased!

how difficult was the “airbag chute” to properly align? Also, the side trim - on my old 2013, it had clips that appeared to be one time use - does the side trim on these come off/go backon easily?

Not difficult. Everything basically goes back together the way it came off. One thing different with the leather that I don't recall seeing with the cloth - There are a couple spots to secure the upholstery to the upper cushion using hog rings (this is detailed in this LMR video for Katzkins, but it's the same thing for OEM "leather"). Again, this is not what I would call a difficult job; it's time consuming and you'll want to wear gloves to protect your fingers. If I can do it, anyone can. You got this!

my old 2013 had hog rings on the cloth - I replaced them with zip ties where the hog rings had been for the leather - planning on doing that this time too.
