In this video, I install a Competition Motorsport 4-point roll bar, Shrader Performance rear seat delete, Schroth Profi II 4-point harness (anti-sub) and a Watson Racing harness anchor plate in my 2020 Shelby GT500 Carbon Fiber Track Pack. I explain why I chose the CMS bar over the Watson Racing version, show a problem I had with the rear seat delete as well as a bigger problem discovered on the roll bar itself after install! These cars generate BIG cornering g-forces on the track... even with Recaro seats, a harness is the only way to stay firmly planted in the seat on the track!

Well done Tim.
Thank you sir!

The project took longer than I had envisioned and I was feeling the pressure late in the day with my car still torn apart and a car show early the next morning that I committed to meeting-up with some friends.

It’s a wee bit challenging, but it’s something anyone can do with some basic tools and a helping set of hands.

Great video, very thorough. I already commented on your YouTube video, but as I said it's great that they added the separate horizontal on the rear kickers. Awesome job.

Very nice write up! I have a Schroth Quick Fit Pro 4 point harness on order for my Bullitt. I should have it in hand next week. Will the Watson waist belt bracket work with the Quick Fit Pro belt? If so, I’ll have to order one for mine. Thanks

Oh I bet. I just started doing vlogging and I can't believe the amount of time it consumes. I bet you could have installed everything in half the time or less if you weren't worried about the camera :like:

Thank you!

Skip to the 38 minute mark... if your lap belt has the the same clips on the ends, this bracket will work. It’s a quick/easy/reversible way to mount the belt to the car.

Sucks about the harness loops. No way of knowing they wouldn't line up until everything was in. Has CMS corrected the problem?

When I spoke with them on the phone after I discovered the problem, they mentioned they had a few cases of this previously (first I had heard of it). They said they were removing the harness loops as an option on the S550 Mustang bar... problem solved... and they took care of me for my time and efforts to correct the issue.

Great to hear! Looks great too. I wish the CFTP would have came with a rollbar.
