Easy fix. Let's make it Probst vs. Billy Johnson. Do the gamut of Ford vs. GM. Start with turbo'd 4's in their best config and work your way up. Pick a track that exposes all. Elkhart Lake?

I don't follow track times, but everyone was awaiting his review.
Is this normal not to post a time? I read his C8 review as well and no time there either.

If they dont post times, why all the suspense awaiting his review?

Looks like the CFTP plus the tire difference (not 100% on the tires) is 5 seconds faster around VIR

Probably true, but IMO any car guy should have a subscription. They have awesome content. Motortrend's recent videos are really good.

Majority of that difference is the tires. The base GT500 tires are okay for daily driving, way better than the cup2 and will last longer.

Nope. A couple seconds maybe. The majority is Aero and wheels.

Keep in mind, the ZL1 was around 5 seconds slower around VIR than the ZL1 1LE.

Right, so everyone who buys the carbon and ZLE are idiots? All they had to do is buy new tires?

changing camber and cold temp pressures for the C8 test done on the same outing was worth 1.8 seconds. So a wheel and tire change (not to mention aero) should be worth a bit more.
