I do seriously applaud all you guys who tackle this at home, even more so the one who do it on your back with Jack stands.
now having said that, this is another example why I’m not so brave. A 12 hour minimum job at what I feel my time is worth means anything less than $1000 to have someone else do them right the first time is a bargain.
good luck getting yours installed.
I agree however in my region of the world getting someone to do it right, would be the issue.

Yeah I have the starter off & mount bracket off as well. Will be installing the mount back on, lowering the car, removing front wheels, then raising it back up & contiue. I will make note of all the instructions needed & send them to kooks when I'm done (if) since their instructions aren't the greatest. I still don't see how you guys were able to torque them after it's all put back together & 1 heat cycle has been done.
After (1) heat cycle I found none of the Header studs/bolts loose. However the Header to exhaust pipe flange bolts were loose and had to tighten them 2x. 10miles and 20 miles.

I have a lift at home so was easier to do.

This is my issue as well as my ego wouldn't let me. Now if it was around $500ish like previously stated above, then I would really consider it.

Yeah a lift would definitely help. I couldn't even torque one of them. I have the passenger side all together minus the top farthest two without the wings the stage 8 bolts come with. I'm assuming once I have it all put back together I'll have to remove the wheel & plastic to try to get the hardware on the last 2 bolts. I would of gotten done if I wasn't on call this whole last week.

metric and sae flex head ratcheting wrenches are a huge plus. I had no trouble with the back ones, it was the forward ones near the ac. Keep in mind while you have the motor mounts off, you can shove the engine over to one side or the other and get room. Also that back ac line bracket needs to be moved OR cut the stud off.

The passenger side install took me probably 4+ hours, and the drivers side took about 45 minutes lol I had a hell of a time reinstalling the motor mount engine brackets on the passenger side, they were just being irritating.

I was able to get the top 2 farthest to the front from the top. The stud was a pain in the ass to get past but eventually cleared it. I tried getting the mount bracket in so many times that I felt like a little kid kicking & whinning under my car. Took a break, watched the UFC this last weekend, had a few drinks with my brother & right before going to bed I tried sliding that mount bracket in. Some how it slid in like butter. Must of been the power of Crown vanilla. Now just have the 2 wings left on the top 2 & start on driver side.

I slid the fuse box out of its mount, separated the large harness connector, and flipped the whole assembly out of the way to get that top bolt in.

That'd what my buddy was suggesting. I ended up just getting all scratched up & got it from the top very slowly. Funny how all these great suggestions are not in the instructions. They might as well not even have sent any instructions with the product as vague as they are.

A couple of last questions before I crank this on for the 1st time in 3 weeks. Wondering what this harness is for, I don't recall disconnecting it or what it's for. Also, this is as high as I can get the pipes to go past the H pipe, but feel like they are a bit low. Anyone got pictures of how they hang on their car? Thanks & I appreciate any help.

I will find out soon. I have yet to turn on the car after install. I was told by a few that I will get a CEL.

I didn't know they had such item. Will look into it. I was just thinking getting a tune would fix the CEL. Being that I didn't delete the cats, they should just be able to tune for the larger exhaust flow I assume.

I tried pushing them up with the jack but it's as far as they go. The H pipe is nice & flush as well as the cat pipes. But past that they get lower. When I raise them with the jack, they hit the sub frame by the differential. As they stand now, they are about .25" from hitting the frame.
