Pictures never give enough info. It looks like someone cut and modified the CMCV wires to put a gen 3 manifold on a gen 2.

Did you modify those wires?
No that's not my video. I've been scouring the Internet to try to find videos with that cable in it so that I can see what it is

The pics in the photo looked like they were modified as K4fxd proposed, but if that is not your photo, and your original wire is OEM, check the color of the wire/color of the stripe on it if applicable, and then maybe someone may be able to locate the wire's function in the manual using that info.

Thank you everyone! Is this something I can just push inside the connector?

When you start it up does the temp rise? If so it is not the CHT wire.
Yes I just started it and it looks like the temperature for the cylinder head is rising

Not the CHT sensor

The only other things back there are the ign capacitor and a knock sensor.

Looks like the capacitor uses 1 wire.

Does your radio work on AM? Should have spark noise that rises with RPM.

With resistor plugs it may not have enough noise to hear.

Not reliably. You'll likely need to take the connector apart, reseat the pin and reassemble the connector. The connector is set up to be watertight. Simply trying to push it back in runs the risk of damaging the pin and no longer being watertight.

Stating the obvious - LOL - It’s not the crank sensor (which is in the rearward location of the engine) otherwise you would not be able to start the car or drive it….

There's a lot of static in all of them and it seems only one channel out of 12 can be heard with a bunch of static in it.

Also, the capacitor looks different online, it doesn't seem to be attached to the harness that plugs into the intake manifold like mine is.

I'm 99% sure it is the IGN capacitor. You should hook it back up as it can cause issues with module communication

The only other things back there are IMRC valves, knock sensors and crank sensor.

Are you tuned? is your IMRC's hooked up in the tune? Can you log? if you can log IMRC and Knock.
