I did it. I pulled the trigger and ordered my new car. I quoted the X-Plan
price I found online and they gave me an additional $750 off. Below is what
I ordered:
2015 Mustang GT
Guard Metalic
401A package
Performance Package
Navigation
50th Anniversary Trim package

While not a GT350 it will be as close as I need to get. Now the waiting
begins. I know it will be a while, but I expected as much. So between now
and the time it arrives I will have to decide on which cat back exhaust
system, CAI and other upgrades.

I am excited to become a member of the Mustang family again. In 1970 I
owned a 69 Mach 1 with a the 429 Shelby Cobra Jet with shaker scoop, BW
T-10 4speed and 411 Positrac rear. Was hard to keep tires on that girl and
fuel in her tank. But back then gas was $0.25/gallon.

Anyways looking forward for the next addition to our family. We just
recently added a 2014 Edge for the wife. Long story but we were down to
just our F350 Dually CC Longbed after 2 major accidents. One hers and one
not.

The wait probably wont be as long now that the factory has it's act together. Most of the people who have had long waits were the early orders. If mine is delivered according to what my dealer has stated it will be right at 8 weeks after order.

Cush,

I hope that is the case, the dealer said it would somewhere between 6-12 weeks. I
will be watching the COTUS site for updates. But I figure with the holidays it may take
a little longer.

Thed, my wife said the addiction started months ago when I started talking Mustangs. But, yes, I will be watching religiously until the day it gets here.
