Cars in the 132 range make probably low to mid 600s. Ive seen manual cars here in the 900whp range trap high 140s, but these guys are BUSY trying to get there. Gear splits also play into it.can someone smarter than me explain the huge disparity in trap speeds between 6r80 and 6 speed manual?
I just ran the calcs and the 6r80 is about equal to a MT82D4 with 3.73. 6r80's are 150+ meanwhile the fastest mt82 cars are 131-132 with gen 1/2 gearing. I know auto cars are faster, but I wasn't expecting a 20 mph difference.
easier said than done in florida. Humidity just kills us. This was about 55% humidity which we get once a year, thats if it falls inline with a TnT night. lol.Congrats, I see you in the 8’s soon.
thank you, sir! You've helped tremendously.Congrats @SolarFlare , way to represent! 8s next time out!
Last log i did from last month showed an absolute peak of 14.5psi at 76xxRPM.Damn that's movin out! What boost is it making on that 4.0 pulley?
Thanks, Brad.That flying!!!! Congrats
in good weather conditions with some weight reduction and a good 60ft I don’t see why it can’t go mid 9s.That's moving out. I have basically the same set up on a gen 3. P1x 3.55 pulley Making 17 lbs. Car made 930 wheel but I'm on an mt82. I've never tracked it before but going by your time slip, I would assume my car would be running mid 9's? Does that sound about right to you?
Thanks for the info. Was always curious of what the track numbers would potentially look like. Big congrats once again!in good weather conditions with some weight reduction and a good 60ft I don’t see why it can’t go mid 9s.
Get out there and get you a timeslip. What it could do and what it does is two totally different things. Thanks for the info. Was always curious of what the track numbers would potentially look like. Big congrats once again!
Thanks! 305/45-17 ET street R.Nice work. 1.39 short. What tire?
Very true. Only problem is closest track is like 5hrs away. No car trailer, stock 1/2 shafts and stock driveshaft. I'm sure you see my dilemma. LolGet out there and get you a timeslip. What it could do and what it does is two totally different things.
First of all nice pass! Love the color.Cars in the 132 range make probably low to mid 600s. Ive seen manual cars here in the 900whp range trap high 140s, but these guys are BUSY trying to get there. Gear splits also play into it.
