Awesome work Matt! Glad to see the GT350 did some good work.

Can you check the peak boost from the before and after MAK inlet test and report back? I need to get the damn thing on (sitting in a box), you've definitely proven its worth.

i can check it tomorrow. i dont have a gauge in the car but headed over to my shop in sarasota. i can put it on my dyno there which it where i tuned it before and i can do a pull and compare boost curves. HOWEVER the intake is also changed so not a true apples to apples

No problem, I guess I assumed you logged boost somehow on all the runs.

The GT350 intake does work on my car. Very happy I went with it, especially since it clears the STB.

Hopefully stock. I think that the consensus has been that porting one decreases performance. That is in NA for though. I'm not sure how it would effect it with boost.
That's incorrect. It shows 10-15whp gains on N/A cars from the light porting of the runners, and smoothing out the injector boss.

I'd love to see a boss in with this test. I know it's generally good for 40+ whp on boosted cars. Would like to see it side by side on the same setup.

I think the victor II would have been a lot more interesting than the boss.

So you'd rather see the boss copy with shorter runners...

It's more ideal for boost on many fronts. Besides, having more torque (long runners) lower in the rpms isn't exactly great when trying to find traction. I'll take the power later in the rpms.

lol that only applies to first gear as no one is going to short shift at 3k.
With enough torque it can apply to multiple gears. Losing traction and the ass end sliding out at 70 or 100 isn't exactly great. It happens even with slicks or radials in the right conditions. Again I'll take short runners, multiple reasons to opt for them over long. People on this site are way too hung up about low end torque. People's focus should be net torque not peak or low end.

Also for the drag racers most will trade low end for top end. When you want low end to mid range you pick a manifold for your motorsport of preference. For boost, short runners typically are king and people's first choice.
