It would be nice if he could get his hands on a CJ with twin 65s. But he would need to from round procharger pipe to oval TB. CJ would reign supreme I bet.

How is the clearance on the hood for the race manifold? Does it need modification or a lowered engine?

i have a boss i might do time permitting.
i have a cobrajet here but i REALLY dont know if i want to deal with redoing the pipe


It would be nice if he could get his hands on a CJ with twin 65s. But he would need to from round procharger pipe to oval TB. CJ would reign supreme I bet.

it does NOT close. but i bet with a 1 inch drop or a hood it would.

this is the intake im staying with (the base holley) so im going to tune on it some tonight and see waht i can find while waiting on the GT350

Going with the base Holley because what's required to fit the Race version?

What are your thoughts between the two Holley manifolds so far? I was planning on the race for a high 7 sec build. Think its worth the hassle?

i think the added plenum volume and the extra sturdiness of the race one is absolutely worth it in a high rpm high power application. the base one holds its own for sure but it thinner and has been known to cause issue in HIGH boost applications (20+ psi)
