Why wouldn't you just put a blower on your current engine? Make more power at a fraction the cost.

I do know what your saying. I would love a Monster CI street engine with a set of Zoomie side pipes. Holy crap that would be the shit.

While there are "easier ways" to get that HP out of a Coyote, it all depends on your application of that power. On the track, I'll keep my high RPM range peak HP, but there is a lot to be said for lower RPM HP/Torque coming from the Megazilla:

Peak power output (J607 standard):
  • 615HP @ 5,750RPM
  • 638 lb-ft of torque @ 4,650RPM
  • Over 500 lb-ft of torque from 2,500RPM to 6,000RPM

that seems like a lot but to get a turn key engine with that much power on tap for anything... is incredible.

exactly, 23k just to START the project…or <10k to be there and be done?

…there’s no replacement for displacement, unless it’s forced induction 😎

Or, do both? Boostzilla?

I'd love this in a 1/2 ton pickup.

The thing I think a lot are not realizing here is that you don’t have to spend $22k to get a 600+hp Godzilla….

The Megazilla has internal upgrades (rods, pistons) to support 1000+hp boosted applications. The head porting doesn’t offer much in terms of HP and the intake is near identical to stock minus the TB placement. The star of the show is that cam.

You could buy a regulator Godzilla crate ($7500) or a long block from Ford ($5000) and add a ~$700 cam and get 600+NA HP.
