How smooth is the magride car
in normal versus a std gt , non pp?
the basic suspension struck me as a little softer on bumps but it doesn't control chassis. The MR is not hard on sharp bumps, just more tactile. It still takes the hard edge off. But if you get MR you want the software upgrade.

I've never had a hankering for standard (and certainly not comfort) steering while in Sport+ mode, seems like an odd use case
some people take exception to the artificially numb (or stiff) steering in sport/normal and prefer low effort at the wheel.

Who uploaded the tune for you? Was it the dealer or something you did yourself and if so what did you use to upload it.

thanks
It's no different than any other Ford Performance tune - comes with ProCal device and a voucher to download the calibration. Can be done by a shop, can be done yourself.

If you're asking if you can buy just a tune, it's been asked about 1000 times and the answer is no.

Magneride is great. Do not do the Magneride handling package upgrade unless you plan to track the car. It is noticeably rougher on the streets.

Just curious if anybody here has experience with their magnaride struts/shocks leaking? I have a rear shock that appears to be leaking so I am keeping an eye on it. No change in ride quality yet but it appears this is not uncommon with Magnaride. There are lots of videos on youtube with GM products experiencing leaking magnaride or premature worn struts/shocks. I only have 21k miles but my car is out of warranty (11/17 build date) but it looks like Rock Auto has Motorcraft replacements for $350.

It was an 'option' for '19 Bullitts, standard on '20s
Nope. Option on the’20s too.

There were three options:

MagneRide
Tech Package
Recaros

Try looking for reconditioning services as they can be done and are far simpler mechanically than standard shocks. Used on quite a few cars under various names.

How hard is it for one to convert a non-MR to a MR suspension? Is it cost prohibitive "after the fact"?

There are threads about it where I tried to help people out showing pics of wiring (that some claimed is present on non-MR cars) and identifying parts that would need to be replaced. In my opinion it would very much cost prohibitive. Easier to sell and buy an MR car (especially now, when used cars are so insanely expensive).

shocks are $400/each for starters. All the PCM integration doesn't exist, even if you wanted to string the wires and sensors to the 4 corners.

You do realize that your warranty is based on PURCHASE date, and not on build date, correct?

I do realize that, not sure why I posted the build date. Original purchase date was 2/18, so either way, it's still out of warranty.
