It doesn't take much at all actually David. We have had 4 or 5 members on this forum alone that have BETA tested various tunes inc. race gas tunes for us. You wanted us to give you a tune that we told the world nobody would get. That was made clear from day one. Lexi should be a testament to that fact that we will provide aggressive remote tuning that is safe, dependable and reliable. You decided to switch tuners (which is totally fine), but you did so before we had the chance to gather all of the data that the calibration team needed in order for us to confidently provide everyone with the tuning that you were after.you don't see many alternative fuel runs for lms is it takes an act of God to get one, in fact how many people have one ? as far as I know only the one person they got in to the 11s
It is great that there are people on here that only tune a small group of very similar vehicles! We how ever have proprietary tuning support for over 100 different vehicles across 4 different makes not including separate or duplicated vehicles. It is far easier for someone to sit at a desk in a home office, and build tunes from pre-loaded maps that are provided from a 3rd party tuning company for a select group of Fords, BMWs, Subis, Mitsus, etc.... We however cannot and do not do that. We are an almost 40 employee strong, 36k sqft facility, w/ five 5-axis CNC machines, 3 dynos (with a new baby one the way), 15 lifts, a bevy of manual engine build machines not to mention all of the other smaller machines that we have to have for our client and other sorted OEM projects.
At some point you have to realize that we cannot provide different tuning for every day of the week. We do have hundreds of other clients and projects that require tuning either remote or in person. We receive vehicles, engines and heads from almost every single major vendor on this forum (and others) on a daily basis. Are we supposed to tell a manufacturer, manufacturer performance division, professional race team or the largest supercharger vendor on the planet that they have to wait a few days for us to do something for them, because we have to make a special remote tune? That is not possible. Please do not get me wrong, we have no problem making revisions, but there has to be some reason included with your criticisms. Just like how life gets in the way, sometimes huge on fire projects come in. We do our best to avoid those issues and still serve everyone with everything that they ask for as quickly as possible, but that cannot always be done.
