I noticed the rubber mat in the cup holders was missing.
Tom, when you get the car back, check and see how many keys are recorded on the car. You have to remove the mat to program a new key. You also have to remove the mat if the battery in the remote is dead.

Thanks earl. Will do. During the PDI, the battery tray cover was missing two fasteners. I believe the car sat so long that the battery was either charged or replaced. That might have had something to do with the rubber mat missing from the cup holder tray.

Yes, I am familiar with the key making process. I always buy a fob on ebay and program it so that I can keep the original keys brand new.

Tomster,
Man, I'm so happy for you. Mine is a month old, and I wish I could drive it more.

Wow... Sorry to hear of this. Shouldn't be happening in today's day and age.
Ford has really disappointed me lately.
I hope they more than make it right for you, Tom.

can you let me know what the dealer prep is. On my 350R they left the spacer blocks for shipping and messed up the splitter. My 500 is supposed to be built the week of October 5th same color car CFTP and painted over the top with black roof. I’ve been waiting a year for this.

The car is back from xpel.

Today I installed Steeda jacking rails. I had the car up on race ramps and removed the belly pan, cleaned up and did some corrosion protection, installed the front splitter and reinstalled the belly pan. I also installed the low profile antenna. No TCU connectivity, and the GPS and SAT radio worked just fine.

Overall, the underside was quite clean and there was a lack of corrosion overall.

Its strange, but before I installed the new GPS/SAT antenna, the car thought that it was at Ford Headquarters in the executive parking lot in Dearborn, MI. Go figure.

Next up, splitter wickers, Sliplo splitter protectors, Caliperfexion brake studs, lettering (graphics), carbon fiber hood, Antigravity lithium battery, and custom roll cage/harnesses. I need to start shopping for a lightweight racing seat.

What is the TCU Function in the new shark fin antenna? I ordered a spare shark fin to have it painted after I get my roof wrapped and the sent me the old style which is way better looking. At this point the dealer can’t figure out the new o point part number so maybe I can use the old style!!

The shark antenna is two antennas built into one. One part of it provides GPS/SAT radio reception and another part serves as a data link to Ford via the ATT cellular network.

The old style antenna will work just fine, but you will loose data link and fordpass connectivity (bonus). Its your call and preference, but i can verify that the old style antenna works (hooked it up today). You just have to carefully remove the double barreled blue plastic connector at the end of your shark fin antenna lead to re use it for the single lead of the old style antenna (see my link below).

@16Kobra How are you?
Was watching a youtube vid tonight about a Cars and Coffee in CFL, think it was a month ago. Was that your GT350R next to an orange GT350R?
If it was you sure get about.
