Hi Jim and Tom,
Was told the specials appear here after Xmas day, so may have to bite the bullet and go for it. Every year not traveling is a year lost.
Will keep in touch.

Hi Tom.
Hope you guys are well.
No travel planned on the horizon at the moment. We are busy doing a few road trips here. The GT500 has 8000 miles on it now.
Looked at the USA air fares last week and they are eye watering. Nothing like back in the day costs.
Will let you know if...
@Tomster
Here you go. Start to finish

Hi All,
We are looking at heading over for the April ,2024 Mustang 60th anniversary at Barber Motorsport Park AL
Anyone here have any info on hotels and areas where not to stay.
Most of the hotels recommended by the organisers are full or near full.
Thanks.
Sam
Hi Tom..
We are planning to head over in 2024 for the 60th at Barber.
At this stage a few of us from our club and friends will be doing a road trip.......
Atlanta to Barber to New Orleans to West Coast FL to East Coast FL.
Hi. I still own my 2009 KR. Tom has seen it an can confirm it is a beautiful specimen of a Shelby KR.
I don't drive it much as I prefer the 2020 GT500 as this is more than a generation in advancement.
The independent rear is such an improvement in handling and the DCT is just out of this world...
Stick with your Bullitt. The "S" badge is the premium what you are paying for.
You would be going back in technology. Guarantee you will hate the ride.......🐏
There is not much that was changed to be a KR for what the dealers were asking for them new. I have one.
The Roush 427R is better value...
Copart unconfirmed but think there was only one bid for 38,500. There's an auction fee as well 2300 ???
Ebay Ended: Dec 19, 2022. High bid was $36,100.00
I am in an RHD country NZ. All we have to do for compliance is adjust the LHD lights and we are good to go. Cars like Camaro's require a modification As they are LED and the mustang is HID (GT500)
Hey TonyNJ.
Big wheels too. LOL
Every day we are this earth then we are closer to one of them. May the big man upstairs give us good health so don't need one.
It is like buying a house.
Buyer pays a bit more than he wants to, the seller comes down and both parties are happy.
Why not just buy it today with an ADM (within reason), you may be dead by the time you get one for MSRP or less.
I say to myself when I see an elderly person with a zimmer frame...
@Tomster How are you keeping? Life treating you well?
The latest GT500 "Code Red" by Shelby that was on display at Woodward had taller uprights. Were they the GT4 or Archetype?
