The MT82 cant handle stock power levels. That being said I have a stock 5.0 gen 3 motor with gen 5 whipple and 10r80 with 770 rwhp ripping 8k rpm every day no prob.
Did you change the Oil Pump gears? My car is going in the shop to have the stage 2 installed . I also have the 10r80 .

The auto trans isn’t going to bang into the limiter so i don’t see why you’d need the cs/opg changed anyway

It actually can. At like 7990 RPM.

Speaking of gen3 opg, it appears as though the oem fluid damper is available again. The elastomeric damper part number was superceded and the new one appears to be fluid again.

It can, and in sport select-shift it will. . . which is why I programmed mine to upshift even in sport select-shift.
Have you figured this out for the 6R80? The table that looks like it should work does not.

Table 6509

Table 6509
You have to modify two tables to make it work. Originally, one wasn’t defined in my strategy but I had it added. I don’t recall the second one and will have to look it up later.

Table 6509
Table 6512 to enable it and 21657 to set the shift points.

Fwiw I have LID mode set up similarly but with lower rpm shift points and less aggressive shift firmness. It’s like roll-race-mode-light for situations like passing during normal driving. I didn’t like that a 700+ rwhp car could downshift while changing lanes and passing on ordinary roads..

On the 6r80 tune table 6509 takes the place of table 21657
There is no 6512 in the 6R80 tune. I do have a support ticket running.

No , stock OPG and everything. Still running great and I rev to 8k every day.
Awesome, the shop recommended but its an extra 1400 that is not in the budget at the moment. I am not going to beat on the car or take it to the dragstrip , I just do some spirited driving on the street from time to time . I am also purchasing the extra warranty from whipple .
