I have a PPL2 so it came standard - that said with forged wheels and SC2s it can handle really well and I have a lot of confidence in the car. YMMV but I like the set-up.

Those are the options I'm looking for also.
I would love to race or drag it, but with the convertible, that is hard to do. If my wife gets tired of driving it, I'll put a roll bar in it and go to the track. But for now, it will be our cruiser.
another vote for MR here. I was going to buy new has all my "must haves" after lots of reading here, then automotive mags/sites about the MR in the S550 it decided for me. I'm doing track, nice drives, cars'n'coffee and road trips only. MR makes the country roads very nice to drive, highway driving feels better too.

here’s what pops up on the dash if TC is not disabled.

I can definitely see MR being beneficial for the purposes that you mentioned.

Aftermarket double adjustable shocks out back are also nice for tailoring the ride, but do require manual adjustments.

just squint when you look at this car and it'll look like a soft top.

MR is better than all other factory offerings. If you're not hugely picky on suspension it's more than up to satisfying casual use. If you want a quick upgrade, replace the front dampers with those from a Mach1/GT500.
I actually like that one. If I get get my better half out of the drivers seat, I would do a coupe in a heartbeat!

I was very impressed with the magneride on my Bullitt.

Then I did a ton of bracing, stop the hop, front end stuff, and the FRPP magneride kit (springs, sways, calibration) and wow. I have zero complaints. Handles like its on rails, great dampening, no wheel hop.

It's a smooth ride that handles road deviations very well.

I wouldnt get a S550 without it.

I don’t have Forscan, but if anyone here viewing this thread has one and it’s not too much trouble, could you please check and see if MR can be turned off?

Hi gang,
I have been looking for a 2019+ GT convertible for a little bit now. It must have a few options that I'm looking for (PP1, Active exhaust, etc). I am starting to think maybe I'll pick up a new "left over" 2023 once the 2024's start to hit the lots. Most of them have everything I'm looking for EXCEPT for the MagneRide. It was on my list as an option I wanted.
For those of you that have had or ridden in ones that do and don't is it a must have?
I will be using this as a daily driver, mostly highway, but hoping for weekend country road trips.
I have Magneride on my GT. Magneride, and the required performance package, definitely make a difference in how the GT rides and handles vs a non-PP Mustang GT. You don't need to be pushing it that hard to feel the difference. However, the combination tacks on $7700 invoice to the price, if it's worth it for you is a judgement call. Not a must have.

As others have said, if you are going to extensively mod the suspension, definitely pass and save the money for your choice of implements.

However, Active Exhaust is IMHO a must have. I am so glad I checked that box. The ability to start up in quiet mode and not shake anyone out of bed over the garage, and then switch to Sport+ or track once I'm clear of the neighbors... priceless!!!!!

Something else to consider with MR is, if you ever upgrade half shafts to GForce, DSS or Ford Performance, the half shaft dust boots can make contact with the MR shock body and potentially rub through them.

In addition to the wide range of adjustability, clearance from aftermarket half shafts was also a huge selling point for me to go with inverted Vikings. There’s plenty of clearance now. Just wanted to make sure folks were aware of this, if you guys plan to upgrade half shafts.
