Yes the VIN sticker was replaced, and the shop is still trying to get the yellow sticker but having issues as mentioned in my post. If I can obtain before they get it, the shop agreed to reimburse me any expenses.
Asking a favor, can I get a picture of the entire yellow tire and loading tag from someone in community with a 2023 GT and performance package (stock 255 front, 275 rear)? This is the tag on the driver side doorsill.
2022 may be fine, but if I can get a 2023 that would be best.
Reason: had...
FWIW My 23 GT with 19" 255F/275R has had no more tramlining or issues on bumpy/rough/uneven philly roads than any other car I've driven around here. Keeping it straight isn't a chore at all.
Maybe check alignment? Could have some kind of oddity in camber or toe-in that is the cause.
Think we addressed both of the most serious by getting rid of Brian Johnson and Desai/Patricia.
But I never underestimate our collective ability to f-stuff up, so who knows for 2024.
Most would recommend just doing this first,: https://www.levittownfordparts.com/sku/m-fr3a-m8a.html
Then see if you need the BMR lockout or Steeda STH kit of your choice. For your use, doubt the Torsen is worth the expense right now. Maybe later as the clutch-based LSD wears down swap out.
Are you asking if you should have a spoiler put on or keep it like it is?
Or are you asking if it is 'safe' for the dealer to install one with their body shop oompaloompas?
I'd guess it's going to be cheaper going to a detail/speed/mod performance shop near you where all the ricers get spoilers...
Overall not as smooth as either the A7 in my old 2011 G37 or the A8 ZF in my 2015 Dodge Durango.
First 1K miles I'd get some WTF shifts, but since then I get 'normal' but not always smooth shifts.
The only thing that really bugs me now is when I am slowing down and approaching a stop and lift...
Good deal- I asked as I am almost out of slick-n-slide, and will need to get another bottle in the spring or try another product.
Really liked slick-n-slide for application ease and it did bead well and leave a very slick surface. Will see what my mood is in a few months. Will either give...
I drive mine in winter. I've got winter tires on now, but if there is a lot of salt and slush on the road like last week, I might use the Durango for running errands to keep the Mustang clean a little longer. But mostly aesthetics of having a black car and having to wait for a warm snap to wash...
Yes, the 3.55 gears wake it up a bit, but with the A10 it's fast even with the base gearing.
Coming from a Challenger, it will be handle better and be faster 0-60 unless your Challenger was a Hellcat.
You are asking a Mustang forum, but we say get it!
Ask your insurance agent or check your policy closely if aftermarket improvements are covered.
It will depend on your insurance coverage and insurance carrier. No one on this forum can tell you.
Yeah... the GT500 is more of the ZL1 upgrade, and sounds like the wife likes the smaller supra so a GT500 isn't going to cut it for her likely.
But first world problems man.
Hats off to you having a wife that loves to drive a supra.
