My wife got addicted to it in our Flex. She drives on the interstate and metro areas all the time and it helps her stay in the flow of traffic better.
That is until the unit crapped out this week. Ford dealership said the ACC module is getting power but is not communicating. The part alone is nearly $1,400 and then you have to have it installed by a Ford dealer because the radar needs to be calibrated. It went out less than 10,000 miles after my warranty expired (go figure).
I'm a Luddite when it comes to cars, so I say skip it. It's just more expensive parts to fail when you get past the warranty period.
