Why would 7 cylinders start missing at the same time? It only logs the misfire when the AC compressor is running and it started right after the compreasor replacement. How you conceivably think it would be the plugs?
Why would it be plugs? Its logged misfires on 7 of the 8 cylinders as well as p0300. No way 7 plugs just went bad immediately after the AC compressor swap and only happens when compressor is engaged.
There are threads here with guys being nickel and dimed chasing everything. Im trying to avoid...
I had another thread about a misfire but it got taken over with other peoples issues. I've also further narrowed mine down so to seemingly be caused by the AC.
Background. Stock 2015 gt. AC compressor clutch seized and took it to dealer. They replaced the whole compressor. Shortly after <100...
Anybody????
The question I REALLY need answered is if the IMRC failure would cause misfires on both sides? So far I've logged individual misfires on every cylinder but 1 and 8. Im trying to figure out if I should start there to troubleshoot this but my rudimentary understanding of the intake...
2015 gt all stock. 24k miles. A few weeks ago I had my AC compressor fail. Got it back and probably 200 miles later I got a check engine light.
Autozone printout says p0300 random cylinder misfire as well as 6 of the other 8 specific cylinder misfires. I had just put a few gallons of gas in it...
2015 gt power pack. Stock. Been noticing a creaking sound coming from the rear driver wheel from 0-10mph. Above that I can't hear it.
Please see attached videos. Passenger side doesn't have the loose/knocking wheel or the rubbing sound. Honestly not sure if this is even the culprit of the sound...
What does it mean that I can spin the inner spindle by with the two fingers I can get on it? Seems like thst would indicate the compressor isn't seized but I dont see why the clutch would abliterate itself...
Yeah but if it does need an evaporator there is no way I want an independent guy tearing the entire dash out. I want a Ford tech whos done it a thousand times.
But either way, you're saying there's really no way to know what went bad without tearing into it?
There's not a change that the...
Driving down the highway yesterday I noticed a burnt metallic smell, thought it was a semi but got off and seemed to be coming from my car. When I started it again I had no AC.
After further investigation theres burnt up metal all under the compressor (clutch material I'm assuming). The inner...
