  1. 6.8L for 2023 Mustang?

My bet is on a mid engine corvette competitor called the Mach Infinity. V8 in the rear with electric motors up front.
  2. 6.8L for 2023 Mustang?

  3. 2020 Mach 1!

Right? What a dumpster fire of a teaser. They should have done between the Edge ST reveal and the F150 hybrid teaser. And then have your graphics department spend 30 minutes coming up with a new emblem design.
  4. 2020 Mach 1!

    Or this travesty...
  5. 2020 Mach 1!

So it sounds like the Mach 1 is for sure going to be a V8 hybrid Mustang...but they're testing the idea of putting the same set up in an Explorer and sharing the name?? Levine also clarified on Twitter:
  6. 2020 Mach 1!

Didn't he mention something about getting the V8 sound with the electric acceleration? Maybe they'll just simulate the v8 sound? :D Just re-watched the video...when the door opens, you hear a Mustang crank up @ 38 seconds.
  7. 2020 Mach 1!

Did Ford lose their license on the Lightning name? That would fit so much better as a performance variant of the Explorer.
  8. New Official Poll - Do you like the MY 2018

The designers of the 15-17 spoke about this shark-inspired design, but I never really saw it. Now they nailed the shark appearance. Funny how turning the headlights upside down can do that. The front end also reminds me of a Jaguar f-type. There's just something more mature about the design that...
  9. 2018 Ford F-150

It's like the Super Duty brackets and the 2006 Gillette Grille had a baby. Meh. Sporty trim reminds me of a Ranger for some reason...not exactly a bad thing. Nice engine options though...my dad just bought a 2016 with 2.7 and I told him they're already updating the design. He said he's...
  10. swapping out the engine

Just buy a crate motor for the other vehicle and then pay someone to do it. I attempted one in an S197 and it was the biggest mistake I've ever made. Trust me, it's a fun idea, but unless you need a really specific racing application, it's a black hole of time, energy, money, and sanity.
  11. One 'stang down in Texas this morning

I'm assuming this is 121? That stretch of 121 hasn't been able to keep up with the McKinney/DNT boom. This part of 121 always worries me because you've got a mixture of drivers (alot of rural drivers still in that area) and semis for all the construction that's going on. My wife drives to...
  12. A Bargin at Half the Price (sarcasm)

Pssh, next you'll tell me that any mustang can be made popular by some old, race car driver signing the dashboard and throwing a supercharger on the motor.
  13. 2016 Mustang Ecoboost Pony Package spotted

Chrome grilles don't really work in the age of mono-chromatic front ends. Doesn't look that bad on white though.
  14. Side by Side

Two best rear ends since the 60's...present generation excluded, of course.
  15. Classic Mustang collection

I think your friend needs to share...I've got some room. :0) Cool pic, btw!
  16. Who else is here without a Stang?

I've been patiently waiting to get into a new Mustang ever since I sold my 2006 three years ago. Hasn't been in the cards for me since my daughter had cancer (she's one year in remission!) and has long term disabilities. Oh well, I've enjoyed the witty banter and photos here on M6G. I've got my...
  17. The Voodoo That They Do: Building the GT350’s Engine

Are these the same guys that will be building the GT (supercar, not Mustang) motor?
  18. New Owner Here

Welcome and congrats. Here's the Roush rear valance: http://www.americanmuscle.com/roush-rear-valance-noholes-1516.html
  19. Mustang see trough t-shirt!

Not gonna lie...I thought of Christmas present for my wife when I first read the title...well, maybe more of a present to me. :D Cool shirt though!
  20. So many s550 on the road

Who would have guessed that having a v6 Mustang would be a rarity.
