I have a 17 I bought new with Sync 3 and there has always been a charge for maps. I used to have a 15 with MyFordTouch the maps for this system were on an SD card that plugged into the slot in the console. Ford charged for these map updates too but you could always get them on eBay for around $30.

At least in my neck of the woods there were a large number of speed limit errors in NA 1 19, many more than in 1 15 or 1 18. The NA 2 20 maps fixed most of those issues.

Well I was poking around on Cyanlabs site and 2020 maps are out along with a new Sync 3.4 version. I have down loaded Sync 3.4.2102 and NA 2 20 maps. I will install tomorrow and will report on how it goes.
