New to the forum. Currently driving a 13 fusion, but really liking the design of the new mustang. Considering trading this in come fall and picking one up. Never had a coupe before, but kids are getting older and 90% of the time its me alone or me with wife or one of the kids, so figure I could make it work.

So hey everyone.

Hi!

I plan on buying a 2015 Mustang GT as my next car. I'll probably get it in the spring. I am a long time import driver, but I did own a 5.0 Mustang convertible when I was 17 (16 years ago!).

I currently drive a 2013 FR-S and my two previous cars were a 2007 Civic Si and 2007 Miata PRHT. I can't wait to have a comfortable car with horsepower, but I will miss the handling characteristics of a lightweight sports-car.

Hey guys, Willie here. I guess I'm in line just like everyone else :) Have owned Mustangs for years and the 2015 really has me excited. Not sure what motor I want yet though.. That Eco Boost sounds cool but my heart is with the 5.0

Found this site while looking for 2015 Mustang info and have been browsing around for the past few months. Seems like all the best info comes here first! I've owned a '66 and a '79 Mustang, now my ride is a very practical 2010 Fusion Sport AWD. I've just made my last payment this month and want to read some reviews of the new Mustang. My last Mustang was a 2.3 Turbo, so I'm really curious what the new one might be like.

Here's my favorite picture of my car:

Hey everyone, I've been creeping on the forum ever since last October. I've been going back and forth on what car to get after graduating (Mustang or FRS). You can find me on ft86club under the same username.

I've never done this before but what the heck! I have been a Mazda lover since my 83 Rx-7 that i picked up in in '89. I've been through that, a 1994 Miata (NA) and currently a 2006 Mx-5 (a.k.a Miata) purchased brand new. Nice cars with NO problems ever. My 2006 actually has a Ford designed (yes FORD) 2.0 MRZ engined but reconfigured for the Miata by Mazda. But it still has "FoMoCo on the dipstick - too funny! Of course Ford owned a large part of Mazda back then so go figure.

But my first car in '83 was as a 65 Mustang hardtop, 289, automatic. I loved that car. I also had a '73 Mustang with a Cleveland V8 which drove like a tank but it was nicely equipped - must have been the top of the luxury line as it had every option known to mankind back then.

I almost purchased the 20th Anniversary in '85 but decided not to as I was going into the Air Force at the time. Ha ha! Good times.

Here we are now. I am turning 50 in 2015 (I am NOT ashamed) and the Mustang also turns 50 so I am now set to purchase one again - but new! It's not a "mid-life crisis" as I already own a sports car and alway have! ha ha! I just want something bigger with a bigger trunk, some useless back seats and an automatic with a V6. That's all. I'm actually going backwards for a "midlife crisis" I guess! Good times again!

I rented a 2013 and loved it! I'm glad to be here and see all of the enthusiasm and such and look forward to telling everyone about my new purchase...in about 1 year..ugh I hate the wait but I have reason for that.

Anyhow - a big hello from ABQ and I'll be here often ~ later D

Base mustangs in my area are selling for 21 base v6, and 25 premium. The FRS is around 25k. I'm guessing the new ecoboost will be around 27, but idrk. If I get the mustang, it will be well after the dealer markups and the first year kinks are ironed out.

Glad to hear from everyone. Dirdle65 I could never understand what a mid life crisis is.
A mid-life crisis is when you finally get tired of doing what your wife tells you to do and do what you want. They invented this term, it helps them try to retain their power.

No more family commuter cars for me, it's sports cars from here on out.

Hi I am Gerald and the s550 will be my first mustang. I have always admired them but the perfect combination of a great new design with a clean interior sold me. I am intrigued by the ground up design for the IRS and the ability to purchase a V8 with a manual transmission. My biggest problem will be buying a beater car until this baby can be parked in my driveway.

Hi Gang, my name is Eric I'm an old guy 54. I've had 8 stangs, the current being a 2011 5.0 premium with brembo package, manual trans, nav/electronics package... My first car was a 1969 mach, which was my mothers before she handed it down.

I live in beautiful glamorous Bakersfield, CA. I run a fun little business www.bakersfieldmma.com BETTER THAN HAVING A JOB. I'm currently looking forward to the (hopefully) 2016 gt350. We shall see!

Welcome to the "other side" :)

PS - as an aside, I took 4 months of mixed martial arts training awhile back that included grappling, Filipino stick fighting, and boxing. The lead instructor and owner was in the military. It was one of the few places in my area where the stick fighting was done. I salute you for what you do :)

Hello, I'm new here and have had a couple of classic Mustangs in the past. I am very much interested in the next SVT, GT350, MACH I or whatever they decide to call it. Thanks for such a great site.
