I can confirm that the latest PC tune completely removes the surging. I do believe that I'm experiencing the issue with the intake tube collapsing, as sometimes it feels like all the power is gone when I drive it and other times, it's full on ridiculous power. But, the drivability is just as...
I'm the one with the Yellow Mustang and HO kit reference in the article. I just wanted to pop in and say that the new HO tune that matches the STG2 stuff mentioned in this thread was installed today and made a HUGE difference for me. Stutter/bucking is virtually gone. I can feel it very...
Weird, I've been noticing this too. I got the new badass "Jackshaft" opener from Liftmaster with the MyQ add-ons and stuff. I have to be in the actual driveway to open it with the Mustang. My wife's 2013 Escape will open it several houses down the street so the door is almost 100% by the time...
To answer your questions, yeah, there is definitely less traction. However, it's really hard for me to answer correctly since I'm currently running P-Zero Nero A/S's on mine. I took delivery in late Oct. and had to immediately swap to either Winter or A/S tires to be able to drive it in colder...
This is false. There are many, many sources (including the tire manufacturers themselves) that state that cold temperatures cause the rubber to get hard and BRITTLE, therefore causing blowouts to happen.
I've seen the fronts on tirerack.com for $267.
I get that, but that's not what you said. You implied that they were making that out of the box and nowhere did they state that.
Now, you can get their Stage 2 kit, install it in your garage just as easily as the H.O. kit and run 650rwhp right out of the box with their extremely conservative...
Nowhere did they say that. In fact, he stated exactly what you did, that it was running at 13PSI (pulley change) and a custom tune, and on regular pump gas.
I've posted before in a couple other threads that my "normal" driving MPG's have stayed consistent, or even gone up as ProChargerTECH has stated. I hopped on the highway, averaged 75 - 80mph for a 30 mile drive and was able to maintain 27MPG in a GT + PP with the H.O. ProCharger system. I'd say...
These were my concerns too and ProCharger is, in my opinion, the best option for that. I didn't have the sea level requirements, though. You should be able to go with the Stage 2 unit on 9PSI and not exceed the ~750hp rating of the stock motor.
I didn't think the iPhone + SYNC read texts either, but it does. I just found this somewhere and it worked for both me and my Wife. Go to Settings -> Bluetooth and tap the one labeled SYNC. Then set the switch that allows notifications to "on" and try it again.
