That's a bad picture since I took it myself with the other hand...and with an iphone. It still looks decent in person given that it's almost 16 years old.
Currently I drive a 2011 Honda Fit and love it because its a fun little car with a four banger that economical on gas. I've been through a few cars in the past couple of years but what can i say... I'm a car guy. I've modified all my past cars to my liking. I also have a motorcycle. A Honda Shadow Phantom. Love that ride too.
So i've been thinking, sell the bike, trade in the Fit, and get a 2015 EcoBoost Mustang Convertible. What do you guys think? I've never really been a fan of Convertibles but being a motorcyclist and living in Miami(where the weather is usually sunny), I think it just makes sense, especially since I really really want to buy to the new 2015 Mustang.
Well anyways, I've been enjoying my time on this forum and look forward to growing with you guys and hopefully we all get to experience the new 2015 Mustang together and share future pics of our new rides!!!
Picked up at 2013 Mustang GT in September of 2012. I've never really paid that much attention to mustangs for the past 10 years because I've been more of a VW GTI kind of guy. Someone totaled my last GTI so I was in the market for another car and I saw the taillights of the 2013 model and really liked what I saw finally. So I started to check them out and my Camaro friends got me to compare the 2013 Mustang and Camaro models. Nearly chose a Camaro because of the IRS but I hate the interior look of the Camaro plus nothing beats the sound of a Mustang V8. So I ordered a GT Premium 6MT in Maroon (Candy Red) with a glass roof, Brembo Brakes, and the pedestal spoiler. Would prefer a sunroof like the Camaro but the glass roof has really grown on me. Disappointing they have stated there will not be a glass roof option for the 2015 model. Hopefully they will announce a sunroof in April, otherwise I will likely not be considering a 2015 model. I'm still not sure about the back end either, I've seen all the pics and I'm not ready to give up my taillights just yet, I'll have to wait to see the 2015 in person before I make up my mind. Anyhow glad to be here to learn all there is about the next gen pony car. Here's a pic of my current GT.
Hey everyone, I'm Ben from winmalee, Australia. I currently drive a 2007 FPV GT with a 5.4 litre V8, it's been slightly modified with a x-force stainless steel cat back exhaust and blue power racing intake.
Looking to upgrade to the new S550 Mustang GT in the new year, can't choose between competition orange, ruby red or oxford white.
Hi, I'm Matt. Hell, I'm just a kid but I am crazy for cars. It's my dream to be the chief engineer of the mustang at ford. I have a whole line of family in ford. I've been crazy for mustangs ever since I can remember. My dad collected the model cars and owned a few mustangs, and I've only driven one: a 2014 GT.
Alright, I've been a member for some months now, so I guess I'll get around to introducing myself. I'm Ryan, I live in Utah, and I am a car guy. Well, that might be the understatement of the century. I come from a Ford family, we have a Fusion and Focus right now along with my Mustang, and my family comes to me for new car advice. I worked at a Ford dealership between semesters of college, and it was the perfect summer job for me. :ford:
I've been looking forward to the S550 for many years now, and now that I have seen it, I can't wait to drive one and buy one.
This is my ride today, it's been my daily driver for about 4 years now. It's a 1997 V6 Mustang, with power everything. I love it. I have put on an aftermarket CAI, grill keeping the pony on the front, a bumper fill in kit on the back, and a sequential tail light modifier. Future plans include new rims, having the bodywork done, and a nice new coat of paint. She is still young, just about 105,000 miles on the odometer.
Hi, my name is Nathan, and I've been on Mustang6G since the initial reveal in December. This site has a lot to offer, and I'm happy to be a part of it. I've liked cars since I was small, and am excited to buy my first new car this fall, an s550. Mine will be a Ruby Red GT, Track Pack, Recaros, and Nav.
I currently drive a 1988 BMW 325is 5MT. I put in a long-block engine with a mild cam / valve springs, full exhaust, and a tune. I also lowered the car and put poly-bushings all around. The car has on the order of 265,000 miles so it has definitely been around. The motor still runs strong, but the car is overall starting to feel dated. I am a Computer Engineer in the Silicon Valley, so getting another BMW would be about the most unoriginal thing ever (seriously they are like Hondas around here).
It's good to be part of a community of so many car / mustang enthusiasts.
Hey there! My names Wes and I've been creeping this forum for awhile now, I currently drive a 1991 fox body 5.0 fastback gt while I wait to place an order for my DIB 2015.
I'm in the scottsdale, AZ area and run my own very small motorsports company. I'm also an SCCA sop ac member and an amateur club driver with experience in American sedan, vintage and endurance racing, also had the pleasure of participating in the 25 hours of thunderhill back in '12
Hello all, I've been posting about on a few threads and reading lots, but never introduced myself. I'm Joe (username give it away? ) and have had many Mustangs in my years. It started off with a Silver 1986 4-banger MT. Then I had a Black 1988 LX Hatchback 4-banger MT which was crashed due to a drunk woman pulling out in front of me from a bar parking lot. A buddies father owned a body shop and I was allowed to have him do the work, so he fixed it up and re-painted it a Mystichrome-like custom color that changed from blue to purple depending on light source (GM purple with blue pearl). During my tenure with this car, I managed to snag the turbo off of an '86 SVO (junkyard) and get it installed. One of my favorites of all time. I really wish they'd bring back a hatchback!
After that, I had a White 1996 V6 AT, a Green 1999 V6 MT, a 2004 Mach 1 MT (my first NEW Mustang and also V8), a Black 2011 5.0 MT and currently a Grabber Blue 2013 5.0 AT. Soon: 2015 5.0 MT w/ TP.
Hello to everyone. My name is Fred. I have never actually owned a mustang. My bad. But I did grow up with one. My father bought a brand new one in 1967. First car I ever drove. White with the black vinyl top. Very cool. Loved that car.
I am finally going to get one! A ruby red 2.3L ecoboost performance pack, nav, fully loaded mustang. This is the most excited I have ever been about buying a car.
Love all the updates on this site. By far the best for information on the S550. And everyone's rides look great. Good stuff.
Now driving a 2006 Mercedes C350 Sport (trading in) and 2003 Boxster (keeping).
I'm Ivan, been a mustang lover since forever but never had the chance to purchase one, due to only working part-time or low-paying jobs, with my new job though I do plan on getting the 2015 Mustang GT. My dad did own a 87' Mustang GT Convertible but he sold it for $150. :/
I'm always up to date with Mustangs and everything new that pops up from Ford for the Mustang. Unfortunately I purchased a Nissan Altima Coupe last year in May. Now I'm trying to figure how I'll get my hands on that new 2015 Mustang GT in Ruby Red!
At first I didn't like this new generation I thought it had a similarity to a camaro from a certain angle but the more pictures and videos I see about it the more I love it! Not only that but gen5 is beginning to look kinda old to me...see you guys around!
Hello my fellow Mustang fans. Always been a great fan of the mighty Mustang, and ever since I sat in the 1966 model Mustang some time in the 90's I had the Mustang itch. Here in Oz unfortunately we don't really get Mustangs sold by Ford plus I've been a turbo guy my entire life.
Since I saw S550 I knew that's something I want - but no more turbos, V8 for me.
Here is also my previous ride - back to manual for me
Hey everyone. Im here to endure the long suffering with you..untill these beasts arrive. Here is a lil vid of one of my stangs and the many stages it went through
