  1. Rumor: Steeda Blog - 2015 Mustang Weight Gain (Updated with Steeda's Response)

I agree. I can't really see it being THAT much heavier. Maybe a 100-200, hopefully less.
  2. EcoBoost sales vs GT

If I had to choose between those two I'd probably make the same decision you did :headbang: enjoy the 5.0!
  3. 2015 Mustang Pricing Revealed! $24,425 (V6), $25,995 (Ecoboost), $32,925 (GT)

Redline Recaros are black Recaros with red stitching. There are no red Recaros.
  4. DIB vs.Black (please help!)

Black seems to hide a lot of the nice lines on the s550.
  5. DIB vs.Black (please help!)

I vote DIB. Black is boring, and you will have a painful time keeping it clean. Blue will be more versatile, and yes look different in different lighting conditions. Some don't like this but to me this is cool. You won't get bored of the color over the long haul.
  6. S550 vs. SN95

Rotate the image. Look at the sidewalk, it is 2-3 degrees off level. Then a straight line was drawn relative to the frame of the image.
  7. 2015 Mustang Pricing Revealed! $24,425 (V6), $25,995 (Ecoboost), $32,925 (GT)

It's about time! Now here's to hoping there is a press release with the full reveal of specs and prices in the near future. Build and Price ought to be up momentarily if Ford is accepting orders for the s550.
  8. How long before we see some specs & prices?

Agreed. If I was a Ford exec I'd be doing exactly what they are doing. It isn't ideal for us impatient enthusiasts but it maximizes their profit, and at the end of the day that is all business is about.
  9. Build and Price is working ...

I noticed the same thing with the two dealers I've contacted in the San Jose area.
  10. How long before we see some specs & prices?

I know some '03 Terminator owners who would strongly disagree with you here.
  11. Pricing for n00b

Can someone comment on how different MSRPs are from invoice typically and in different situations? I don't have any point of reference to know how different they might be. Thanks!
  12. TRIPLE YELLOW S550 MUSTANG Thread

Sounds like a good combo to me... I will be getting Ruby Red however.
  13. Do you want Black Rims with your Performance Package?

This is a loaded question as others have said. Having the option would always be the best option. However I do like the black rims so I voted for Yes PP Wheels.
  14. Pricing for n00b

So using the options pricing recently leaked, and estimating a 5% increase in the cost of the premium GT I think the car I want will have an MSRP of ~42k. What would be the approximate invoice price, and more importantly, the approximate X-plan price? Thanks!
  15. 2015 Ford Mustang Order Guide (U.S. and Canada)

So.... I'll throw my question into the mix, Option 68B "Premier Trim w/ Color Accent Group" says Aluminum I/P panel. What do they mean by I/P panel? the whole trim piece that goes all the way across the dash? I thought all models had that Aluminum, and some had the Turned Finish. Anyone have...
  16. Purchase Plan

I was looking at getting into a credit union. Since I would likely be buying the car in September / October timeframe, would I have enough history with them to ask for a 25-30k loan in a few months time? How did you work this out with your credit union. Also I've been doing a lot of research...
  17. Purchase Plan

Thanks for all this discussion. I have a 664 FICO.
  18. Purchase Plan

664 TransUnion 719 Vantage I read 664 is "Fair". The 719 score is almost "Good" but it's on a different scale. I wonder if the fact that I have minimal history would cause me to get no offers. I appreciate everyone's feedback. Up until about a week ago I thought I was going to have my...
  19. Purchase Plan

Sound advice to be sure. This is what I have been doing. I am worried I won't be offered a loan. I could afford a pretty awful APR, but I would only do so knowing I would refinance in the near future. I just don't want to get all prepared and order the car only to have it arrive and not be...
  20. S550 v S197

Well unfortunately on paper we know the raw dimensions are essentially the same. Doesn't mean they didn't use better / less materials and a fancier frame design to lower the density though ;)
