Looked in the search feature, but want to ask which struts offer the best reputation
as far as ease of installation and satisfaction?
Thanks!

I got the Roush set. Very well made, easy to install. Lots of other options though, just my $0.02

I went with the Roush also… They’re nice… But as always, watch your washer hose!

I do agree with that :) I mashed mine once before I got it routed correctly. And I butchered my battery cover cutting around for it to go thru too. But the struts themselves are awesome, my redneck engineering, not so much :)

i avoid using these since they scratch the inner fenders when installed

After researching on this forum, I went with the Redlines. Easy to install and have had no issues so far. Only complaint (minor) is that I did not like the logo stickers on them. Fairly easy to remove and they look much better being all black IMO.

Redlines...Easy to install. If I can do it, anyone can do it!

Redline. Have had them on three different Mustangs now without issue. Comes with everything needed for install.

I, too, settled on Redlines after a lot of interweb research. They seem to be the most recommended brand. They install very easily and work very well. The other side of the coin that seems to be well accepted is to avoid Ford Performance due to poorly designed mounts that cannot be secured reliably.

I’ve had the Ford Performance and now Redline. Redline is much better IMO. Brackets that attach to the hood are bigger and I think they lift the hood a bit higher than the FP struts did (I didn’t measure before I traded my 2016 car in that had the FP struts). I’ve heard good things about the Roush struts too

I never had an issue with securing my FP brackets. Maybe a few folks got some bad brackets? I did feel like the hood brackets weren’t big enough and the hood felt a bit wobbly at times. That was on my 2016. I have Redlines on my 22 and love them. Feels much sturdier, especially on a breezy day.
