Hood struts

I have the redline elite struts, they are great.

I went with the Ford Performance struts. They work perfect, but I can't imagine there's a big difference between any of them.

Went with the Steeda hood struts on both my previous Mustang and current Mustang. I also got the Steeda trunk struts which will fully open the trunk upon release. Love them.

I have the FP ones on my garage kept, hand washed and blow dried 21 GT. Surface rust on the bolts. They function fine but the finish is not durable.

Had the FP struts on my ‘16 and they were fine. Just ordered Redline for my ‘22 the other day. Redline, Roush, etc. have a little more stout hood brackets than FP which is why I’m going with Redline this time around but I otherwise had no issues with the FP struts

Ford Performance hood struts rubbed on my passenger side hood. Redlines have lower brackets to support the lower hood better. After some hood adjusting I was able to get the redlines about as good as I could get them but the hood isn't 100% by my own measurement but anyone who looks at it would never question it. I went with the Redline Elites.

Don't get the MRT struts. They failed within a year and their response was: buy new ones.
