The scoop just routes air into the factory airbox man. Since the factory airbox opening is right behind the drivers side grill, I cant see that making much difference if any. You could argue the same goal can easily be achieved by just removing the inside of the driver faux fog light. But I seriously doubt a dyno test would show much gain either way.How ya figure no perfromance gain? More air means more fuel and spark equallijg more power. These are mass air cars not speed density. There has to be something to gain. Like when we swap in the airraid blue filter, def feel a diff.

P.s. some people don't wanna cut a hole in there hood because it's a mach 1 or say or whatever specialty model. That's what I mean, they r worried about collectors status.
