Ford had to do it to get the flow up due to those stupid traps. They were a huge restrictions on the Mach 1s. Not so much when you have dual intakes. Twice the surface area, twice the airflow
I'm a full weight Mach 1 that runs 9.69s so far. I'm about to add 3 lbs of boost and some other tricks. That car couldn't drive past even the laziest cop. Lol
Man this makes me wanna get a draggy. I have no clue what I'd do 60-130. But after reading everything, I'd lower tire pressure, make sure the rear alignment is right after a lock out, and maybe so ballast.

You have double the surface area allowing more air flow with the two filters. The stage 2 comes with a much larger tb than stock from what I read from whipple
