The function only uses things that are there for other systems anyway and must work.
Coding this out will probably only bring other messages to light.
Read out fault codes and tackle the problem at its root!

Take your car back to the place that worked on it and ask them to fix the Hill Assist warning that came up after your car was in their shop.

What was it in the shop for? Did they have to do anything with brakes, ABS system, wheel bearings or???
Check to make sure the short dongle by the air box assembly isn't loose or has been disconnected.
