Got my kit on and I started it for the first time the vehicle started and idled for a second then cut off and I tried to keep starting it wouldn’t turn over just kept cranking what could be my issue I ended up getting the cranking time exceeded message what could be my issue I attached a video down below.

Check to make sure…

bov and gates have all unused ports plugged

check maf orientation it’s probably upside down

smoke test the car. I had this issue and it turned out to be a leak. Get a real smoke tester

check the plug gap

test all pumps in hat to make sure they are working

make sure you didn’t take out a fuel fuse or relay during install and forget to put it back in

make sure your fuel filter and check valve are going the correct direction

make sure you ran a vacuum line to fuel reg

Also make sure the tune is correct.

I bet the issue is one of those npt ports aren’t plugged

And don’t vent one side of the pcv

if you have a catch can either vent both or none.

you’ll induce a vacuum leak if you just do one side

Last suggestion would be to make sure the correct fuel is in the tank. 91/93 not e85

I didn’t know I had to plug the ports I thought I could let the ones on the solenoid and the wastegate vent to atmosphere

On the Mac valve? Send a photo of it
Give me a couple seconds but I’m running my plumbing like this I have the top ports of my wastegate venting to the atmosphere I have them bare though no silicone tubing hanging from them and have the bottom ones connecting to the solenoid.

and is it a 3 port or 4 port?

Which controller?

and are you using C02 or compressed air?

Jeez you have two Mac valves. Did you plug the other one? That doesn’t have a port going to a gate?

I’ll check the instructions I think I can pull them up.
@NGOT8R if you have time can you check this out?

I did actually I have 4 ports on each wastegate I plugged the two on each wastegate and just used the other two I’ll show you what I mean in a second

When did the eboost3 come out? I knew they were working on it a while back. I saw a short video of it back then. Had I known they were coming out with to the EB3, I wouldn’t have bought the EB2.

The good news is they say the wiring is the same, so it’ll be as simple as unplugging and swapping them out.

I hooked it up the polarity doesn’t matter for the wires

So both port 1’s to atomosphere

both port 2 to fitting on turbo

and both port 3 to bottom of gate


looks simple.


did you check the gates for any open unplugged fittings? And did you wrap each fitting with teflon tape?

I had a fitting loose on my blow off valve and it caused the car not to start also. I think you gotta smoke test the car.
